My Aunt has been at the Sanctuary at Marian Oakland since March 2014. She has been very happy with the staff. They have been very helpful and concerned with her well-being. The cafeteria staff have also been very helpful in accommodating her food allergies and have made sure that her meals were still nutritious. My Aunt and I both feel that cost value at the Sanctuary at Marian Oakland is well worth it.Your facility made my aunt feel comfortable after leaving Chicago where she lived for 70 years,we appreciated all your help and consideration considering my aunt changing memory.

Marian Oakland is a wonderful senior community. My mother-in-law lived here for a couple of years until her heart condition required a higher level of care. While she was at Marian Oakland she loved the community.
The staff is caring and always put the residents first. From the Manager, Angie to all the staff, housekeeping, maintenance, the kitchen. And my mother-in-law loved the activities. You can tell that the folks that work at Marian Oakland, love what they do. I would recommend this community for any senior that is looking.

My Mother moved in there July 1st. This place is amazing all of the staff went out of there way to help her. They came in once a week and cleaned her apartment. That lady was the Greatest she was always smiling. The food was home made and the dinning hall was always clean and colorful, for what ever the season was. If I every need to look for an independent living facility for myself this will be the first place I check out. My Mother had to move out last week. She needed a lot more care. Thanks to SOMO
for all you did for my Mother.

My grandma moved here about two months ago and not only does she love it there but so does my family. The staff is always very friendly and loves having events not just for the residents but also for the families. The mothers day tea is so simple yet an easy way to involve the family members. They also have good food and services to help those living there. The food is all homemade and they have a variety of options even for the pickier eaters.

We visited Sanctuary at Marion Oakland looking for a place for my husband's sister to live. We were impressed by the apartments, the dining room, the activities available and the friendliness of the staff and residents. My sister-in-law loves living there. She has made friends and considers it her home.

The wonderful people at Marian Oakland make this more than a sanctuary, it is truly a home. Seven months in, the staff is just as warm, helpful, encouraging, and caring as they were upon arrival. Services can be adjusted as quickly as needs change. The food and activities are excellent. Looking forward to seeing the grounds blossom in the spring.

My grandmother has lived here for a year now and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Recently, her life alert button was accidentally pushed and I couldn’t reach her. The maintenance staff, Craig, helped me reach out to someone on site and followed up as well to ensure she wasn’t injured. They truly go above and beyond for the residents here and I find comfort in knowing she is living in such a great community!

Got to work with Mayada one of the coordinators for admissions. She does amazing, kind work. Anytime I have a patient/resident who requires this next level of care in their life I always recommend them. Keep up the great work!
