We were literally the only people there and still were not served immediately. The food was not good. Parts of my husband's meal were undercooked and some were overcooked. When we were leaving, we noticed a dangerous obstacle in the parking lot. There was a traffic cone that had fallen away from the obsacle. A restaurant worker walked right by and did not correct it, thus leaving a dangerous situation in place for the customers.Overall it was an unfriendly and unsatisfactory outing.

The Maine Trail Association on line offers an excellent way to find hiking trails on Maine islands that are otherwise not evident. They have an online membership only at a modest cost to search and plan visits to islands with trails. You will need a boat. A kayak will do for islands within safe distance of your launching. But you will not to choose you own safe landing point on the island. Choose a leeward (downwind) whenever possible,

Great people. Without MITA there would be virtually no public access to the islands along the beautiful Maine coast.
