I was put on cash aid knowing child support would go after my childs dad for some support. When all the paperwork was returned from my ex husband and myself the differences in income were outstanding. It was like 12,000 a month for him and 810$ for myself with three kids and single. I had an attorney from Madera County named Mr. Mcgurty he did absolutely nothing! The child support judge evidently really liked my ex because she ordered 0$ for child support. Did Madera County fight for me as a single mother of 3 kids and really struggling. Nope they didn't do anything. In fact Jill from Madera co. Said it was fair for him to pay nothing. Even tho he made more in 1 month than I made in a year on welfare. My uncle thank God got me a attorney and it took almost a whole year to get my day in court. As of yesterday he is now ordered to pay $1097.00 a month. Because of Madera County's child support division and there negligence and lack of caring I had no help for that year and it really can take a toll on your mental capabilities and even physical. When you feel no one is on your side and no one cares, all while youre trying to raise normal happy children it can be very difficult, discouraging and to say the least depressing! I have filled out a complaint against this department and suggest anyone else who has been thru this to make a complaint also. I still think there was something I didn't know about that was working in his favor (like Jill ) at the madera co office of child support. Theyre are playing with peoples lives here and childrens lives and they don't care. In my opinion Ms. Jill from madera co child support owes me over 13,000$ for the whole year it took to correct her mistake.

Bad staff, slow waiting times even when the office is empty your still waiting to be seen and the receptionist is almost always on her phone 😊
