I visited Macomb County Alano Center on Saturday, I was welcomed from the time I entered the door as if I was family, the atmosphere was cordial and the members were approachable, I recommend Alano Center to any an everyone who is serious regarding their recovery process.

It's not a bar, baby! That being said I'm very comfortable here. People don't go to bars to see bottles, they go to see people. There's people here. Good people. I attended 2 meetings this morning and will be there for Happy Hour at 5:00. While I'm there I am going to become a member. It took me 16 months to realize I'm not going anywhere...

This is my home away from home. I love every minute of my time at the center. I found sobriety there and now have a HUGE family that I love and who love me.
The counter side is managed by great people starting with PeggySue the manager and Nancy, the Asst Mgr. it’s my hangout place.
The meetings, and I’ve been to all of them, are special, they are a haven for those seeking sobriety and friendship.
I learned the hard way just how much the center means to me during the COVID shutdown. I felt lost but I’m always grateful that God saw me through it and I can continue to go “home “.

Safe and sober environment with meetings compatible w any schedule. Great members new and OG. Sports, cards, table games, snack bar and membership perks. Annual and impromptu events hosted regularly.

This is a good place to go if you want to stay sober. It's layed out like a bar but no alcohol is served here. They have snacks, soft drinks and coffee. They have a jukebox and a couple pool tables. There are meetings throughout the day for those needing one.

Terrific place. Use to belong to the club but now I changed club due to miles. I met the most amazing people there. I still drop in once in awhile to see friends. Definitely 5 stars
