I understand there is a policy that the public does not have access to a restroom. However, as a 73 year old woman who unfortunately had an issue with irritable bowel syndrome I was told to walk across the street to the Dollar store to use their facilities. If you have ever had this as an issue there is an urgency to find a bathroom. As a Christian organization I would have thought there would have been a little more understanding and compassion toward my dilemma.

I find the name of this business very ironic. It’s supported by local churches. The name should be “Love In Action - if you fit a very specific criteria, otherwise we have no love or empathy.” But, like any religion, that stuff’s just a facade. Religion is about control, not love, period. This place is no different.

I dropped off a big, heavy chair for my mother and met one of The nicest Ladies while inside! Very personable, knowledgeable with a finger on the pulse of the town & it's People, in Grand Haven!
L.I.A.? Would you mind if I clone her and give Them to other businesses like; DHS, a couple of Medical Dr's, an Attorney & one S.C. Judge (No hate here! 🤭), 0ne GRCC professor. OH! And that 1986'ish ~ N. Muskegon, Police Officer that gave me a 10 over Ticket while telling me "No fire hu? Well, you don't Look Like a Visiting Nurse Sweetie! You S u r e your in the right neighborhood? It is 6:30 in the morning and your driving a hatchback mustang with louvers!" 😒🤨😎 (Don't worry. The Rich lady I made fancy lunches for called his Chief, the Mayor and governor of Michigan's wife! I didn't see ANY POPO after that! But just in case, I'd like to have a few clones of your wonderful employee to help me through the rest of my life & others around this great State! 😁😂😉

I love shopping here, but I stopped by today with my mom and we were looking at things on the front and saying how cute they were and the lady going through them was so extremely rude to us making comments and refused to check me out because she didn’t want to. She made really extremely rude comments while we were shopping and made us so uncomfortable because of how rude she was. The man working was extremely kind to us, but with her being there I do not feel comfortable with the way she spoke to us. We instantly wanted to leave.

Love in Action helps those who slip through the cracks and teaches them about financial issues for basic necessities. They provide food to several food pantries and give to those who even have to work a couple jobs and still are unable to provide for themselves the necessities they need. Most people live paycheck to paycheck and Love in Action has a finance class to help with budgeting and also helps those who need help with car troubles or power and gas bills that threaten shut-offs. I am glad to give part of my tithes to help our community through Love in Action.

Love in Action of the Tri-Cities does such amazing things for this community. From their free health and dental clinic to their Hope and Harbor Houses. I enjoy volunteering with them and love to see the work they do. Thank you Love in Action!

Very nice people and amazing work! They replaced my shower surround wall. Thank goodness for their help. It was a blessing. Now I'm going to pay it forward and make a donation. Thanks Love in Action. 🙂
