Extremely Rude, customer service is at a zero with Adamea or Amdea not sure the spelling of her name. She didn’t let me talk she talked over me. She treated me as if I was beneath her and because I asked questions and didn’t get silent when she wanted she said she wanted to provide me with service, and said call everyday instead of Providing resources like she called for. I told her I slept at a friends house one day and that friend put me out and I slept in the car she kept chuckling and said if I needed her service let her continue if not it’s on me. She said I was urgent enough even though I slept in the car with my son. So I asked if I had to sleep in the car and we die for it to be urgent like a recent case in Michigan it’s only so much anyone can take. She has zero empathy she is just doing a job. I did speak to one lady when I first called who was a doll. They need to weed out the bad employees it makes the company as a whole look terrible. As if being homeless isn’t enough being made to feel like scum by staff isn’t good at all.

The Pontiac location needs to stop giving out old outdated food. And make sure volunteers are not taking all the good stuff including laundry detergent they never can keep in stock. I was told it’s gone within hours it is unpacked. And I’ve seen volunteers take items to their vehicles while delivering to family cars.

One lady told me the lighthouse doesn't deliver and then one lady told me they do. On the website it says there is delivery. Which one is it, do the lighthouse deliver or not? My name is Lashaundra Colbert... Also, if you are really companionate about helping others then help, if not, don't sign up to help people just to get clout or be famous.. Update: I received my delivery but I wasn't told that someone was bringing it and no one called to let me know that they were coming, so the food was just on the floor in front of the door. No on knocked to let me know it was there. just one bag with a couple of veggies and milk, which is fine with me because I love fruits and veggies. It would be wise to hand food directly to the person when delivering. Thank you anyways.

This was just delivered to my disabled department complex and I’m just wondering why lighthouse repeatedly is given that only me but other residents already expired food. Expired expired bags of menu flavor, lasagna even green beans, cereal. I know you guys try to do your best but you need to do better especially if you’re nonprofit organization because this is extremely illegal to do especially to people have cognitive impairment and disabilities in general I would like to know who runs up Pontiac. Just reply to this comment or have them reply to it it’s been about a year. I’ve gotten expired food delivered to only disabled building of where I live. If it’s expired, we don’t want it just like you just like any normal person.

Honestly, would you feed your kids or your elderly parents? Probably not.

Worst experience ever... my elderly disabled mother applied for emergency food... took 10 days for a "emergency food delivery". When it came today it was a joke. It consisted of a gallon of milk(thank you)... 4 golf ball sized potatoes...4 tomatoes...4 giant zucchini(do tuff you can't eat them as theirs so big) a half of a loaf of bread and a bag of bagels. It's been 5 years since she received any of their services...5 years ago every can of veggies were expired... some as long as 5 years. I realize they depend on donations... but giving food that's expired 5 years seems excessive. I'm not sure who to report them to... there has to be some one. This is a horrible situation for the elderly.

I feel like I was discriminated against a little bit. I was first there and called filled out my form. 1st time coming and will never go back. I hate to say my feelings were a bit hurt going home. I was served last as well. This is what they gave me... couldn't use anything and ppl served before me had nice things 😔
