Many times I have been faced with the need for a family member to go for short term rehab or long term care placement. 6 out of 6 times I have chosen Life Care Center of Gray. During every stay care and compassion were shown. At the end of life my aunt and grandfather were treated like family. They were treated with love and dignity. My mother in law remains at the facility and she is loved by staff from housekeeping to therapy and everyone in between. Thank you for loving not only the residents but the family members also. May God bless you for the work that you do.

Two of my grandparents ended up here. Both were well taken care of. One loved bingo days and the other preferred to stay in her room. Regina was one of the therapists they saw. She was absolutely amazing with them. Very encouraging and always made them smile. They offer hair services. Both my grandparents loved the service. The nurses were very nice to them and us as visitors. The people who changed them and did basic care really have a big heart. They would assure my grandparents getting changed was no big deal. If your loved one ends up needing care, I highly recommend you look into this place. Thank you guys for taking care of my grandparents.

I am surprised by the other reviews. My mother has been here for almost two years now. The nursing and support staff treat her like their own grandmother and she loves them all. The therapy department is always trying to see what they can do to improve her quality of life. The administration has always been supportive when I had an issue or concern. I am glad to have Life care center of gray taking care of my Mother.

Life center provided my parents comfort and care. I was impressed at my family's ability to communicate with the staff members anytime. Providing updates on my parents care was a key point.

My mom has been here a few months now and receives excellent care. Her case was a sudden, unsafe discharge from a hospital as she lived alone and I am 13 years from retirement. She can't live alone and thus facility was the only one available at the time. When I read the reviews, I was terrified but we have had no problems at all. The staff has been amazing! I visit my mom several times a week and maybe that makes a difference I realize it shouldn't but when I am there, I am also watching the care and treatment of other patients, some are bedridden and all are happy, clean and eating good meals so I don't understand the hateful reviews? My mom is happy here. They have many small singing groups come in and are always doing some kind of activity. Maybe the negative reviewers just don't really visit until their loved one's health has really declined? Now that is sad. I do see so many that never get visitors. I am trying to advocate for more churches and visitors to come see these sweet, forgotten souls.

My grandmother had rehab here and she did great. Ended up going home and lived alone. Nursing was very helpful with her needs. The director of rehab helped with any needs she had. Highly recommend this facility

I fully believe that my great grandpa would have had a much better chance of still being alive today if he hadn’t been transferred to this place. My grandpa was placed here after having a stroke. I visited him as much as possible, which was mostly on weekends. I understand that places like this are often understaffed and overworked, but when my grandpa would need somebody and hit the button to call, it would take around an hour or more for anyone to ever come, even after pressing the call button multiple times. The food is TERRIBLE. My grandpa became so dehydrated while being here that he had to be taken back to the hospital. This ended up with him passing away a couple weeks later. I would’ve packed him up and taken him home with me if I was allowed to. I regret not fighting my family on letting him get transferred to this place. I do not recommend, and if your family member is here, make sure to quit your job and stay with them 24/7 if you want them to survive and get the attention they deserve. I will literally regret not doing that for the rest of my life.
