Thanks for the settlement check! I always wondered back when I took the loan how you got around my home state's usury laws and charged so much interest over the state's limits. Now I have the answer...you shouldn't have been doing that. But hey....in all seriousness at the time the loan helped and your entity was the only one who would step up and offer cash. All of the other (pre-usury laws) lenders rejected me...probably because I was too high a risk with the terms restrictions forced on them by the states. So....no ill will from me. Thanks again. Hope everything works out for you guys. I do remember the people on the phone were noticeably friendlier and easier to work with than non-tribal high interest lenders from years ago. I remember empathy when I asked for an extension and modification of my payback terms....also VERY EASY to understand you all over the phone. I'll just leave it at that when comparing to the others. ) Sorry you had to pay all this money...seems silly because most of us got a check for like $10....it's just too many people to divide all that amount up and get anything that's noticeable for the INDIVIDUAL (I'm quite certain IDF noticed it!) Also with the lawyers taking 1/3 or whatever the judge finally granted, that cut the chances of receiving a big check pretty significantly. This type of suits are weird if you ask me. My check was $7.20 .... whoopee (not blaming IDF in saying this)...but who really was awarded anything substantial? The plaintiff lawyers...ugh....Good day. )
