My step father was a resident at Lassen House for almost two years before he passed away in December. He felt at home there. The Lassen House team always showed loving kindness in their care and support of my stepfather, and were always helpful to his family. Their dedication and professionalism in how they care for residents who need assistance is impressive.
Thank you for being such a wonderful organization with a focus on residents so that they had opportunities to be socially active at Lassen and connected to the local community.

My Mom has been at this facility for months. They are always very friendly & attentive. The food is great and the chef even came and met my Mom and asked her what she liked, awesome. The nursing staff has been very polite attentive. Facility always is very clean & well kept. They have great activities throughout the week. I highly recommend this facility if you have a parent or family member in need of assistance.

We have had two of our parents here, different years. First my husbands mom back in 2018. His dad had passed away and she was on her own so it was decided to move her to Lassen House (aka Brookdale at the time). She loved it here and the peace of mind was invaluable.
Now we have had to put my mom in an assisted living facility. I have nothing but praise and empathy for those that work here. They attend to my mom like she was their own. Having staff there 24 hours a day is a relief for the family that can't be there. We really appreciate the care received here, the family is grateful.

My dad Leeland Warner is living here and am so grateful for the great care he gets. My oldest sister lives close by and is able to go see him alot. It is hard for my middle sister and I to be there to help out because we live further away. My middle sister in Kellsyville an I live in Washington state. So it is a true blessing to have my dad here at Lassen House to help take the pressure of our older sister. He seems to be happy and like it here. He usually lives by himself and now he is a social bug meeting people and playing bingo and just being able to socialize with others. Me and my sister's are very happy 😊.

My dad became a resident at Lassen House when his Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s made living independently unsafe. I live in Hawaii and was concerned that the distance would make any transition difficult, but the staff and management at Lassen were excellent and so helpful. Throughout his residency there, they were kind, compassionate, and professional. I never felt uninformed on his well-being or care. They assisted with his transition to hospice care and were there to assist me during those times. I’m grateful that such a facility was there so my dad could stay in the town where he grew up and chose to spend his senior years.

My mom has advanced dementia. I can rest easy knowing she is residing here. The staff at Lassen House care for her in a way the family cannot. They attend to every detail and communicate with me on a regular basis. They are intuitive, cheerful and sincere without sacrificing their professionalism. It's a really nice facility, decorated like a home but still has the needed equipment. They provide activities and social interaction for the residents. Their handling of the Covid issue has been exceptional in my opinion. And last but not least is that my mom says she loves the food!

Now, this review is based on just my opinion of it at first glance, as I have not been inside this place before. It looks very nice on the outside. Kept up nicely. No garbage littering in the driveway or sidewalk. Very homie, and tidy. The only thing that looks like it could be a little annoying is getting into the lot, and out of it.
