If you are wanting to donate here make sure you're not a minority! Both my parents have come here on seperate occasions to make donations and have been denied or treated in a condescending and rude way. They've both decided to no longer donate but instead send me, I appear very white passing so I've been treated very well here. If you don't want people of color in your thrift shop then you might as well put a "whites only" on your front door.

Organized and neat. The one item I wanted didn't have a price. Rather than taking it to the back and having a price put on, told come back in 3 days. It does not take that long to research an items value. I live 30min away. I will not be coming back!

Whatever you do DO NOT walk in @ 4:50 and have the audacity to want to see what they have, there is an obnoxious, condescending sow of a human being that will speak to you like you are the lowest form of human life in existence. If this is a charitable establishment, God help the people that it is supposed to be helping based on the experience that I had there.

The store is alright the only thing that bothered me is if u work there and u get sick and call in u get fired right away and I don't think that's right because I was working around every one and u have to touch everything plus everything is not cleaned right I mean sanitized! The last Saturday I worked I cleaned all the tables in the back plus the washer looked nasty so I had to clean it off so it's not a really clean place to work! I only worked there almost a month and I seen a few cockroach's out on the floor when I was putting stuff out to be sold so be careful what u take home!

The staff was friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor.

I asked for a dressing room, they didn't have one available do to COVID. One of the cashiers said I was welcome to change in the aisle between the garment racks. 😄 (My Jean's fit perfectly, by the way.)

The merchandise was reasonably priced and there were a variety of quality furnishings and antiques.

The store was clean and orderly.

Not my first time there and definitely not my last!👍😊

I like the variety of items, as I sometimes take my elderly mom there to get out of the house. It's fun to wander, and we often find something fun or useful to bring home. We mask up, and either sanitize our hands on the way out or wash when we get home just to be extra careful, but the store is clean. Items run more expensive than Goodwill, but since they have permanently closed in Paw Paw, this is a good option.

I LOVE this place! It took me to volunteer to really understand what this business really does.
I'm new and still learning so forgive me if I have not posted everything they do. What I do know is nothing goes to waste. What is not acceptable for resale is donated to a mission. They go through the items and what they cannot use is ground up to insulate homes. Being in the back and seeing the incredible set up and very busy hard working volunteers is amazing!

I would like to add that I just read a lot of negative post towards CommunityThrift. They were all from 1 year ago. One year ago we were all very stressed over COVID-19. I think we need to show a little grace to businesses that have guidelines they have to follow. I'm sorry that people felt the staff was rude. I cannot comment on that as I was not there. What I do know is the staff here now Dec 2021 are very caring good people.
