Lakepoint Community Church is home. The messages are all Biblically sound in doctrine that give us hope in today's changing culture. Whether in Bible studies, Youth Group, Young Adult Ministry, Children's programs, Jesus is front and center.
The campus is more than just a "church". With outdoor services on a lake in summer, baptism in the lake, swimming, a meeting place for all to fellowship and do life together; young and old, Harvest Festival in Oct., VBS, Solid Gold for the 60 and up, mission trips and other activities.
Being a part of Lakepoint is like coming home to family.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Christ the King church. Kids church is an amazing place for your child to learn about the love of Jesus in a welcoming environment that makes learning fun. In the sanctuary you will find the most amazing and welcoming people you will ever meet. Our pastors are authentic and down to earth. We also have amazing music and our youth are becoming an even bigger part of the worship team. Come join us and see how God is moving in this awesome place

This place is my home. I have made so many friends and gotten so involved I would never even consider leaving. Pastoral team is great. Friendly atmosphere. Great sermons and worship. Over all great place and I highly recommend.

What I loved the first time I attended is still true today. This is not a pretentious place full of holier than thou attenders. It is down to earth and welcoming. Sunday services are short and sweet with applications to daily life. The music is modern and upbeat. There are opportunities to delve deeper on most Wednesday nights through the MORE services, as well as small groups, bible studies and other classes and outreach opportunities. This church values the community and is plugged in. There are activities for kids and teens, and people in many stages of life.

The grounds and facilities are among the best I've ever seen - it's on lake property! God's beauty surrounds you as you meet with people who care about you. Several summer services are held outside on a hill by the lake. A pavilion and extensive grounds provide a great place to play and socialize after services. The youth have their own building geared to them and great for their worship services or their "5th Quarter" parties - a safe place for local kids to gather after football games. There is a beach and dock and in the summer the kids swim after youth group. During the day you may find a group of moms from the church playing with their kids.

No church is perfect, the idea is to find the perfect fit for you and then plug in. We've visited lots of churches - especially when my husband spent a couple years working out of state. Visiting lots of wonderful churches help one to see what you value most, and for me, CTKC feels like home and the members and attenders - my extended family.
