Actually ridiculous that I walked out of Walmart yesterday thinking I could find cheaper bowls at goodwill. No, save your time and just buy a brand new set of bowls elsewhere because they’re literally at least $1-2 cheaper.

Nice, well maintained store. The prices on many things are getting pretty ridiculous, however, to the point of not being worth buying used.
My second gripe isn't with Goodwill itself. I'm getting really disgusted watching scumbags with Ebay stores scamper through the store scanning every single item with their phones, to resell in their own online stores. Maybe these bottom feeders should go get a real job, instead of filling their carts to the point of overflowing, with items that they don't actually want, while leaving the junk for the rest of us.

You never know what you might find at the Goodwill store. We found this beautiful bookcase.
Our son has just moved into a new apartment. And this bookcase matched with the rest of his living furniture. Now he has a place for all his books. 📚

Prices are higher than usual, and the variety is limited, Staff was not welcoming, just not a place for me.

This used to be a better experience but lately their pricing has gotten ridiculous. They were selling a dress with a broken zipper for $8.99. Get real, Goodwill. A new thing to watch for is the orange stickers! ORANGE STICKERS WITH CLEARANCE PRICES appear on some items. DO NOT be fooled. There will be a larger white Goodwill tag, usually on the back so you don't notice, with a MUCH HIGHER PRICE.

So many things at my Goodwill I can get cheaper new. Most items are doubled even trippled what it costs brand new at Walmart, Target or even at Dollar Tree. Rising costs I can understand when you are using it to pay your employees, rent and utilities. But really are we just lining Casey Jones pockets? How many sports cars does one really need? Stop supporting corporations that don't put the money towards the community or take very good care of it's employees. Paying a greedy CEO for donated (free) items is shameful. This is wrong on every level of what thrifty means.

Pros: Well-lit, relatively clean, organized store
Cons: Crazy high prices! Low quality items

I love thrifting and enjoy visiting different thrift stores during my travels. The store looks very nice upon entering but I soon realized there was no way I'd be buying anything at those outrageous prices. An old tattered cookbook was $7. A little metal planter from the $1 section at Target was being sold for $3. For being a thrift store they also sell a whole lot of overpriced new items too. What is not overpriced is too worn, not very clean or just not nice enough to buy. I spent 30 minutes and walked out with nothing. Big disappointment.
