We took the 1pm tour; it was so informative. We heard the story of each animal, their different personalities, and their names. Also, why they were there at the refuge.

It was an excellent tour and well worth the money. Then we walked and visited the animals, and they were all getting up from their naps and ready to be fed at 3:30. The cages were big and so clean. The caretakers were great. The scenery there was beautiful.🐻🦁🦊🐺🐦‍⬛🐵🐑🐐🦌🐫🦍🐒

There is no cell phone service. Very nice place not crowded. But to plan better in my opinion go to the guided tours. I went on the 1530 feeding tour, and you still have time after to go see your favorite or the whole park. Bring cash because their electricity does go out. Also I love that you can bring your own food and they have chairs and tables. Drinks are available to purchase.

Definitely worth the visit! The staff are passionate & knowledgeable (the guided tour is well worth the extra fee to learn a lot about each animal’s history). They rely on tourist dollars to fund their operations, so you also feel good for supporting them. Overall, I applaud Keepers for rescuing these exotic animals to live out as normal a life as possible.

What a great day! So glad we stopped. Our tour guide, Savannah was outstanding! She knew lots of info about each one of the animals and was able to answer tons of questions. I would absolutely recommend the tour! Walking after the tour was great to take as long as we wanted to look at the animals. The animals here all have a story. Thank goodness they made their way to Keepers of the Wild! Without them they would not have survived. They are fed well and their habitats are cleaned every day. The only thing which could have made this better was to see the hibernating bears or attending the 330 tour to watch the feedings.

I love that this place exists because some humans really suck! The animals here come from both private and some very public (previous) owners who should never have pets. even if these animals won't ever make it back to their rightful habitat, these people take care of them and give them a better life.

They have mostly big cats, but they have taken in other animals as well. Did the bus tour and had a very friendly, informative guide. You can walk through but the guided tour offers a unique perspective. The place is run solely on donations and the revenue generated at the park, so save some money for the gift shop when you go.

Top place to stop if you’re doing AZ Route 66 (be sure to get the Route 66 passport from kingman!)
We did the 3:30 tour and we really enjoyed. They feed the big cats on our tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Each animal is incredible. My daughter especially loved the spider monkeys.

We used the Get Out Pass. Great value and they’ll let you upgrade to the tour.

HOWEVER there is no cell service there. You need to take a screenshot of your pass ahead of time. I had to drive back down the road until I got service to redeem my pass. The cashier wasn’t familiar with the pass but hopefully they’ll work all that out.

Also, I tried calling and messaging before our visit but I couldn’t get in touch with anyone.

Very cool place and a must if you’re driving along the Mother Road!

We did the walkthrough, and the employees are very knowledgeable about the animals. These animals are basically wild but rescued from shows, former movie animals, illegally owned, Laboratories, etc.
