My daughter goes to after school and summer camp here and is on the swim team, and we love it! Counselors, coaches, and staff have all been great and are always very helpful. I haven't used the facility myself for exercise or anything, but have heard good things, especially about their classes.

My experience with this facility has been great I joined 2 maybe 3 years ago the staff is great and very helpful. Now that they have a handle on the Covid situation I am determined to get back into my routine and get healthy, the best part about it, it’s affordable and I am worth the investment.

Fantastic facility with tons of remodeling and updates on the way! As far as Clarenda's review goes : The Whirlpool is on a 15 minute timer, which is a safety setting for exposure to that temperature. It also fits about 5-6 people. Considering the amount of ammenities for a small town facility and the extremely fair monthly ratings as well as always friendly staff, there should never be a reason for a 1 star rating. Very undeserved.

Would give zero stars if I could. Horrible amenities. Sauna is like a horror movie waiting to happen. My diabetic child was harassed and discriminated against for a year. They would not pick up public school students on a YMCA bus. They did offer that service to private and charter students. All students paid the same fee. Let children eat unhealthy snacks like Belvita crackers at will. If you MUST use them PLEASE be diligent and pop in to check on your child and there well being.

We enjoy going to YMCA. Exercises in the pool as well as the hot tub has helped my back a lot. I have sciatica and it has helped rather than taking medicine. It has helped my better half as well. We go two to three times a week. It has been a big blessing.

If I could give zero stars I would! Me and my family has been a part of the Kannapolis ymca for a while and we recently had an event there a family was DISCRIMINATED by an employee and when we bought it to the manger’s attention he showed that he did not care and that there would be no consequences for this employee! They have lost a loyal customer, because it is 2022 and I don’t understand why things like this is still an issue!

Giving 2 stars only because of the week day staff otherwise I’d give 1 star. Heather Kee seems to only give a hard time to some members while she allows other members who don’t have their fob in without issue. She also encouraged my husband to go to the China Grove YMCA to receive better customer service. Trust this will be taken further, no one should be mistreated by Heather or anyone else.
