We hiked grace ridge trail!! One of the best hikes in Ak!! 10 mikes and 3500 ft of elevation. You need to get dropped off and picked up as it’s a point to point hike. Many water taxis available, about $100 per person. takes 5-6 hours, highly recommend

Always a great experience here on a sunny day. Love the glacier lake trail. And the glacier Spit on low tide is fun to explore.

This review is of the trail along Diamond Creek to the beach, on the north side of Kachemak Bay. The trailhead is accessible from the Sterling Highway by following a narrow, eroded, pot-holed gravel road.
It's really nice to be on the beach at the mouth of Diamond Creek. However, nobody says: "this trail is so awesome!". The steep trail is on an old illegally-constructed roadbed and erosion is a severe problem. Combined with soils derived from volcanic ash, which are extremely slippery when wet, the trail itself could objectively be described as awful. But it's nice be be on the beach at the mouth of Diamond Creek!

The best part of Kachemak Bay State Park was discovery of a Private Parcel of Land that is One Mile Square.

This is the greatest place I have been on Earth.

Ocean, Mountains, Forest, Field, and Stream surround this private parcel of Land. This extraordinary place is being used for Staff and Students of the Alaska Film School.

Sweet place to see glaciers.
There is a cool hard cart where you have to pull yourself over a river to get to the other side. Things get much more rugged on the other side.

Definitely hike to Grewinck lake, Do not hike Alpine meadow ridge, relentless hike 2 miles up at 2,000 FT elevation with not much of view
