Joining the Junior League of San Jose (JLSJ) was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I moved to the Bay Area four years ago and wanted to make friends and get involved in the community, but I gained all that and more. JLSJ has given me the opportunity to learn, grow, volunteer, and lead among amazing, like-minded women. This organization is not perfect. At times, there are bumps and often times, there are areas for improvement-that's the fun part! It is an amazing opportunity to improve an organization, which allows me to gain valuable new skills.
