My mom has died. My dad has Alzheimer’s. I asked them to stop the mailing my parents and they refused. They called my dad and asked, do you want us to stop sending you appeals for donations? He said, no, so they keep sending them. I can’t get custody of my dad because of the trust in place. Lawyers tell me I can’t do much because of the trust protecting him like armor. He is flushing money down the toilet to this organization and he doesn’t even know how much he’s giving them. They take advantage of your family members. Beware! You can’t trust this organization! They will scam your family members. They use prison labor for the repair of the wheelchairs and this is commonly referred as slave labor because they are captive and paid pennies on the dollar. Look into prison labor and you’ll see what I meant. Great PR team, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

We came here on a school field trip and learned so much!

This is an amazing place to come and understand more about the world of disabled people. Joni's staff are super friendly and welcoming. This is a beautiful facility that has an inside Chapel, water feature, and beautiful artwork by Joni.

We also so many Bible verses on plaques on the walls which highlighted when the Bible talks about disabled people.

We loved the beautiful mural painting of the parable of the feast that Jesus talked about.

You get to watch heart touching video that shows the work that this ministry does overseas and they give you a free book. We got to meet Joni and she was such a delightful and inspiring woman!

We were blessed to visit this ministry and learn so much. Thank you Joni and Friends!

After watching the videos on Kid's Corner at Joni and Friends website, my 5 year old was excited to visit Joni & Friends. We were visiting in the vicinity on Monday 1/22/2018 and decided to stop by to see. We were very disappointed at how cold the staff were there (such stark contrast to the friendliness of the people in the video). I have never seen my son getting disappointed in anything in his life. This is the first. Do we have to be disable to get kind treatment here? Nearby, there is the Agoura Hills Event Center, the staff there were so kind and welcoming. It was such a contrast. I would not go back there. It's not worth the 1.5 hour drive for me.

One of a kind experience- catch a glimpse of what it's like to live an inclusive lifestyle, creating an atmosphere that values and celebrates the gifts and abilities of every individual. Joni began living life in a wheelchair at the age of 17 after a shallow dive in a lake. Instead of giving up or becoming bitter, she took the challenge head on, setting out to glorify God right in the midst of her circumstances, developing this very unique organization through which our entire nation and world have been changed for the better by showing through example, what it means to honor and include those affected by disability.

What a wonderful telephone staff we meet as we order items or give. So very competent, patient and efficient. Thank you for the God-loving people who speak to us in these brief encounters! A reflection of Joni and all there.
