I am Thankful for the JVS socal for thir help to better my future. I am not Jewish, I am a Faithful Catholic. I feel Jewish people are like brothers an sisters to us. My caseworker Robin Moreno is awesome. She is amazing. She helped me through the whole process of signing up for vocational schooling an now I'm working as a licensed CNA. JVS socal also helped with everything regarding my financial needs. They covered my tuition for school an my bus pass an a little extra for toiletries, because I was a very low income single parent. They also did not ask for anything back. Thank you JVS SoCal an Robin Moreno. One more thing, Robin Moreno has done ticket to work programs. God bless you JVS SoCal federation.

I regret having to write this review, particularly in our current challenging times. It's disheartening to acknowledge, but being Jewish may not influence your experience with this organization. My disappointment stems from realizing that, just as numerous other nonprofits, your value to this organization might be contingent on the depth of your financial resources. For those in the Jewish community seeking assistance, I would caution that this might not be the organization to fulfill your needs. In my interaction with Carly she was rude and condescending, and she didn’t follow-through. it's sad to once again find out that a ‘none profit’ organization you thought would be supportive doesn't live up to what they claim their mission is. This organization says it's all about tackling poverty and helping out the jewish community with various needs. But when you actually reach out to them, it seems like they couldn't care less about you, your kids, or any of the issues they boast about on their slick website. That is, unless you're opening your wallet to give them a donation. I have decided to write this review once I realize my experience with Carly, is not an isolated case as I have reached out to this organization a few times in the past and never received any response. Prior to donating to this organization, I recommend you 1. Pretend to need help from them and see if they ever respond to you. 2. check out their executives (enormous) salaries.
