We love it. You feel right at home immediately. Always something fun going on or just a great safe place to sit and talk with friends. Wonderful Taco Tuesdays, (11am-4pm) the food is great! Every other Thursday they have had Burger nights 5-7pm and 2 Friday every month (I think) is steak night. You can't beat it. If your military you gotta join.

I've been to many different Posts, this is very welcoming and not too smokey. Smoke eaters inside do a great job. Several large screen TVs. Very upbeat staff, volunteers, regulars, and music. Very low prices. Well worth annual or Lifetime dues. You can sign in 2 guests if you're a member. Get a Post calendar b/c tons of weekly events and monthly special events. Kareoke and Live bands often. Great food when scheduled, such as Fish Fry the first Friday each month. Easy parking. A little hidden but not too hard to find if you look.

We have done alot of volunteer work with several VFW Post. 99 pet cent of them have an outside smoking area. I don't think we should be subject to second hand. It's your choice smoke. We do not go in that often because of the smoke. We go home smelling like smoke. We would like to go in to support our veterans and have a few drinks and maybe a dinner. But not worth dying from second hand smoke. We did not feel that welcomed. Starting to warm up a bit. Sorry to the people who have been good to us. Just would like to do more for the VFW and our Veterans. And it is open to the public about 3 times a week.

Although this VFW has a outdoor covered patio area it seems that the majority of smokers do not have the common courtesy to step outside to feed their over indulgent smoking habits. Which makes for a very smoky and smelly environment inside a small building. Also it seems that they are not intelligent enough to figure out a way to schedule their bingo (a revenue maker for the post I understand) and their 3 times per week ridiculous karoke sessions (a service that the post must pay for unnecessarily) for different days other than during Sunday NFL football games and Thursday night NFL football games. It is totally ridiculous to have these entertainment opportunities at the same time which causes a conflict when they could be presented at different times...This post has had quite a few Vets pass away from from lung cancer and other respiratory diseases which should not be a surprise when considering the ill healthy environment in the post. This particular VFW is the worst managed post when compared to others by far. They are still using very old outdated 8 ft. fluorescent light fixtures in the meeting room(s) which cost more to maintain them (if parts can still be found) rather than upgrading to energy efficient LED fixtures. I guess that you just can't fix stupid. The most ironic thing about this post is the fact that it's hard to imagine that there are still quite a few old grizzled Vets here drinking Bud light and other Anheuser -Busch products despite that corporation being solely owned by a Chinese company (historically one of our worst enemies) and they also honor "gays" more than any Veteran causes. (Apparently they don't care about financially
supporting the communist Chinese)...Just doesn't make logical sense in my opinion...Like I said before--- You cannot fix stupid I guess. All American Veteran organizations should boycott any and all Chinese produced products with pride in their hearts even though our government sells our companies and our farm land to them indiscriminately and allows them to fly their spy balloons over our country. We as Veterans of this great country should take a stand in unity to fight against such idiotic and stupid behavior...

Veteran? You are unreservedly welcome. Don't like the smell of cigarettes? Well, it is a bar... Starting to have food on Fridays and Saturdays again. Cheeseburgers on Thursdays for a few weeks now.

Can you say BINGO - most Monday nights they have bingo. Great volunteers and a place for people to go and get out at night.
