Good place to go get a free hot meal and it's nice because they give you the option to either sit down or get it togo. However...I can't guarantee that the food will taste all that great or that you'll leave with a full stomach. They are super skimpy on their portions and 99% of the time, the food isn't great.
The people that work there are really nice! The ladies that dish out your food are always very friendly. And it's a nice, new building with lots of room and they keep it really clean.

The soup kitchen has declined in a way I'm even worried to walk in at times due to alot of mental health people that r yelling and swearing also always in the bus area people tend to smoke Marijuana which is really not healthy. The food is good when in need. Been going here since the 90s more and more I tend not to come and just suffer because of issues that arnt addressed by staff or even city police.

We do a lot of egg donations and pickup for a few locals. They do a great job and help the community by keeping them fed. The lines move fast, people have a place to sit as well as a 30 minute window for takeout. Even when I have been there dropping off donations, the guys have asked, “brother, do you need a meal before you go?”. They really do care.

I have had complaints with very, very few items being over salted and a few days here and there where it was difficult for those with diabetes to eat due to the menu being almost all carbs those days. Even with those minor issues, these guys and every single volunteer I have met deserve 5+ stars.

This is a place that provides a great community service. People of all ages gather here Monday through Saturday to receive a free hot meal, salads, and desert. They offer breakfast starting at 8 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to close at 1:00 p.m.
The workers are volunteers, some are doing community service projects. The facilities are clean and welcoming. The food served is healthy and taste good. The food comes from donation from businesses, groups and individuals or is purchased with monetary donations. Surplus perishables that can't be used are placed on the back table for visitors to take home with them so nothing is wasted.
A secondary service happens here as a result of the people that gather here to serve and to eat. They form a community that gets to know each other, so if one of the regulars that has additional hardship is missing for a few days the others will make note and someone will check up on them. They share tips for resources for assistance and even job openings they have heard about.
The facilities has a bulletin board with extra information listed on it for other services and there is a TV which has the news on it to keep people informed.

I eat here 3x a week, because it's hard for me to come every day w my disabilities. The food is really good. Very impressive for a soup kitchen. More restaurant level than ud ever expect from a cherity. It's like going out to eat for free. N the staff r incredibly kind. They treat me like family. The su chef checks in on me n pats me on the back every day. They're always asking how my beloved cats r doing. Always there to brighten ur day n put a smile on ur face. Never have I seen a place so kind to those in need. This place n it's ppl r truly a blessing to the community. Even if some of the needy who come in r a bit big for their britches n act like it's not good enough n expect the royal treatment. Lol. What I say to their childish attitude, don't let them get u down. U r all doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

Ever since the old owner left which was a few yrs back it was a good place to eat hang out and make new friends. The food was good the bathrooms were kepted clean and everyone made you feel welcome there. But since Jenny left yrs ago the place went down. No one seemed to care abt nothing when someone new took over the place. Ppl started to get sick from the food they ate there especially the bread which was moldy. They never washed the plates, forks, knives, cups in hot soapy water. All we saw them do was dip them in hot water and put back on the shelves. Salads were always not fresh plus their milk was usually warm sitting out. So many ppl here know of all what was going on there. So for that reason I don't allow to bring my family there any longer for those reasons.

It's a great place to go if you need food and can't afford anything to eat. I've been in a rough patch on several occasions and the awesome volunteers at the ICSK will feed you no matter where you are from. The people behind the scenes here truly care and that is what makes this soup kitchen spectacular
