Since the story point group took over quality of life has changed drastically for the better. I’m the chef in this community and I can tell you, every day I see happier faces. Our culinary program has been especially prosperous with a happy and hard working team. These residents have worked so hard their entire life, I’m so grateful to see them get the care and love that they truly deserve. It’s a blessing to be apart of.

I have heard so many good things about this community especially with the change over to Independence Village. I see their post of all the fun activities that they do and it looks like the residents are having such a good time. My daughter works there and she really enjoys the community, the residents and the company - definitely would recommend it

We are looking for a place for independent living in the Traverse City area and when the time comes Independence Village will be at the top of our list. Staff was extremely courteous and concerned about our needs and wants. The rooms have everything we would want. Very nice place

This community is great - a perfect place to retire and live at. I currently work in this community and the residents are wonderful and so caring! They love doing activities and gathering together to socialize, they are so welcoming and thoughtful! They deserve the best and that’s what we strive to do!

Looks like a great place, moving Dad in next month. After a month Glen Eagle is the right place for Dad. Friendly and kind staff, great residents.

From the moment I spoke with Craig, I knew this was going to be a perfect fit for my dad. He was so accommodating. Not to mention, when he gave us a tour, we couldn't believe all the amenities this place had to offer that were included. It is clean, safe, beautiful, spacious, friendly and felt like a 5 star resort. He said it felt like home and I was happy because it was safe. Everything was perfect about this place.

Housekeeping is really bad. The General Manager talks behind the staff and residents backs. When I try to talk to him about an issue he says he doesn’t have time. He has his wife serving tables. Calls staff late at night. He’s very two faced. I don’t trust him and neither do the female staff.
I am and have already looked at other places to live…
