I attended iForward my sophomore and senior year. Loved both times. Yes, you do have to have some self-motivation. The teachers were great, the classes were great. I had teachers stay behind after classes or schedule a time to help me out. Or make phone calls or emails or whatever they could do to help me! This was in 2015/2017. I graduated with high honors and loved that we were still able to have an actual ceremony and other in person events. I’ve never had my diploma denied or questioned.

These people are so insensitive.. I attended a few years ago, I worked hard. I completed all the stuff to graduate, but couldn’t volunteer because my family was homeless and I was also 17 working full time trying to help out. They didn’t care, they didn’t try to help me. Passed all the classes you actually need to graduate.
Sad during Covid those kids didn’t have to volunteer to graduate a year or two after I was enrolled.
Do better

This school is great for kids who have a lot of free time and are highly self motivated. I only did online my senior year and it seemed like there was so much more work than youd do at a public school, I found myself working for hours on the assignments each day and was sort of struggling to get things done on time. For the classes that came naturally to me I'd get weeks ahead and then wouldn't have to worry about it. What I like about this is that you can work at your own pace you just need to be attending the live sessions for participation points. I have a 3 month old daughter and this was the best option for me, I could graduate and get things done at my own pace without being stressed out. The teachers are all pretty nice and will help you the best they can, the guidance counselor is great and is really lenient. I like that they give you a little extra time to get things done too and aren't so strict on things like a public school would be. I really felt like I learned something because I could go at my own pace rather than be rushed into it everyday and be distracted by other students. The teachers at my last public school never had time to answer questions or do some one on one time with you but these teachers do. I found myself getting a lot better grades than I did in my last school, I was able to focus on what I needed to do and then get it done. It took a lot of motivation some days so if you can't do that then this isn't for you. Otherwise it's a great school and I am really glad I had this option because being a stay at home mom can be stressful and this helped out so much.

This program was an awful experience for our family. Neither of our children would ever return.
If there was a way to give it a negative rating a minus 10 stars, I would.

The program has low expectations for students which is good if you are looking for a slacker education where you are just passed through.

It's pretty tough to fail. If you want to actually be prepared for college and learn anything, THIS is not the program for you.

There are a lot of technology problems.

Many of the teachers are lower quality , nice but not of the quality you will find in a traditional setting.

The Administration is a large part of the issue, and several key people should be replaced.

If you want a quality education, this is not it. If you want a program you can really not work at or learn much in or be prepared for college or tech school later, then yup this might be for you.

It is a good program for delayed learners or otherwise special ed etc.. otherwise .. I would rank it the lowest out of all the WI online programs available.

There are a lot of issues with this program and very little accountability. Go out here and read some of the lower reviews, one is even by a former teacher at the school.

They also use Florida Virtual academy courses and those are well known to be substandard.

They are REALLY good at making the program look awesome, but stay away .. it is not what it seems and there will not be support when you run into issues.

The Dept of education has numerous calls about this program from concerned parents and others..

Just say NO and choose another program. Connections Academy is reputable.. as are many other WI online programs.

I've been here two years and it's awesome and the teachers are good and nice and it's not for everyone but for kids who like not having 8-9 classes a day this for you because you only have 3-4 a day and I went to public schools and they just suck. In the beginning it's hard and it's always that way, But after a week or so you will get the hang of it. I started in 7th grade and will go till graduation.

It was ok.The education itself was alright, it was obvious that some did their jobs and some were there just to get paid. But they do have a lot of courses that you dont always find in high schools so thats really cool opportunity. My one complaint is that I asked them to send schools my transcripts and they either didn't or they sent incomplete ones that didn't have a graduation date. I have talked to them almost a year later and they do seem eager to fix this issue so its not out of complete carelessness. Overall it was a good experience, but I suggest if you plan to go to an online school get involved with the community to keep you somewhat social.

I loved going here. I was in public school from K-9 and do to personal stuff I had to switch to online. I first started at eAcheive and that school absolutely was not for me. The teachers are not helpful, the people in the office are so rude, and the I was so stressed out with the homework. I had to get out if there. Thanks to a close friend they introduced me to iForward. Going here was the best decision I had ever made. If it wasn't for the teachers, the principle, the principles wife, and my counsler I would not have graduated. The staff here are amazing! You do need to be self motivated, but you have to be at any online school to get your work done. I also liked the flexibility with the classes it madde it easy for me to go out and get stuff done when I needed to, but also had time to do school. I would recommend this school to anyone that is looking for an online school.
