The Humanitarian Center is a wonderful community resource where people can go volunteer their time to make items ranging from quilts to puppets & wooden toys to jump ropes and games, to crochet, or knitted items to donate to those in need. Open Tuesday & Wednesday 10 till 3.

It's a good thing. Volunteers are always welcome. Hygiene kits, blankets, folder games, hand painted wood toys. Give them a try you'll feel better and you will have helped somebody in need. 🇺🇸🤔😘

I’ve never been here but just received a package of handmade blankets, burp cloths, onesies, and a blessing outfit for our new baby! My daughter’s preschool asked if I wanted one and when I said yes I didn’t think it would be much. But this package is amazing! Seriously! The detail in every blanket is incredible. Thank you so much for what you did for us and what you do for many others!!

I took my 4 girls ages 7,5,3, and 1 to volunteer here and came out feeling so blessed! We took a tour and saw everything they do there and then we got to paint toys! 1 for themselves and 1 to give away. It was so much fun and I am VERY happy to have a place to go donate my time to helping others and showing my children how to give back to their community! So wonderful for all ages! If you're looking for a fun date that gives back too or just want to kill some time and be productive this is a great place to come donate your time! They also have a place you can take your projects home and bring them back. So great! Everyone here was very friendly and I will bring my children back and come myself again for many years to come!

This is such a wonderful place to go and help make quilts, crochet, make toys, paint, or cut out and put kits together for children's learning. Everyone at the Humanitarian Center are so friendly and helpful, I always look forward to volunteering there. I truly enjoy serving there.

The feeling in the place is unlike anywhere else, AND there is something for anyone of any age/gender to do! Everything that is put together in this facility is done with so much love, it is wonderful to be a part of it. I like to go and paint a base coat on the hand made toys, but they have need for people to help with tasks from sewing, quilting, cutting, painting, knitting, and everything in between. It's a place the whole family can come to feel a part for something bigger and beyond our own.

Must see and do for all. So please be giving, empathetic, unselfish, and think of others. Less fortunate people need our volunteer help and fun to make blankets, clothes, hygiene bags, hats, mittens, etc so they have what they need to live. Please come and help. I love it!! I always have so much FUN!
