Donating to I Have a Dream Foundation - Los Angeles has been a very rewarding experience for me. I have had the opportunity to speak to alumni who have graduated from the IHADLA "Dreamer" student programs and I really got at a gut level what a difference this foundation makes in the lives of children and teenagers - as well as their families - who live in the poorer communities of Los Angeles. Education and a change of perspective opens up opportunities for these kids in the world. It is great to see the successes they become and how they give back as well.

I had the great pleasure of attending the gala fundraising dinner that I Have a Dream Foundation - Los Angeles held on March 8th. There I was able to meet many of the current Dreamer students, alumni Dreamers and the staff. It was also cool that so many celebrities came out to support them. I was happy to donate a piece of my mixed media abstract art work to their silent auction and glad that I could make that contribution. These people are doing great work!
