recently visited the Humane Animal Society, and overall, I was impressed with the facility. The place was clean, well-organized, and clearly well-maintained, with the animals appearing well-cared-for. You can tell they have a lot of love for the animals, which is always a good sign.

However, my experience with customer service was a bit mixed. The front desk staff could use some improvement, particularly with one employee who seemed unwelcoming. The skinnier woman With the red sweatshirt had
a somewhat snarky attitude and didn't seem too eager to offer helpful information. On the other hand, the other woman at the front desk, who was a bit fuller in size, with purple hair and colorful pants was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was friendly, helpful, and provided me with all the information I needed, even offering a business card and assisting me on the computer.

While the facility itself was great, the customer service experience could definitely be improved, especially with the attitude from one staff member.

Puppy was obviously well taken care of and the staff were amazing. They clearly had given him a better environment than where he was from and he will hopefully only get better at home with us now. We had issues pop up with our apartment and the staff completely worked with us along the way. Mackenzie was a great hand off especially since both me and my partner have anxiety. 11/10 experience.

This place deserves zero stars. We found a lost dog today and were directed by the police department to meet at the Humane Society. We knew they were closed and had exhausted all other options to help this poor sweet dog. The receptionist came out of the building yelling at my husband in front of my kids how she wasn’t going to take the dog. He never knocked on the door or asked her to do anything. He explained the police said they could bring him there and they would take him in. The lady seemed pacified for the moment and said that the police could in fact bring the dog in… then a few minutes later she came storming out again yelling that she called her boss and they weren’t taking the dog because we brought him in our car and not in a police car… my husband at this point had still not asked her anything or knocked on the door. He was waiting for an officer like we were told to do. This woman took it upon herself to come outside and yell at him in front of our kids for trying to help save this poor lost dog. Thankfully, while this was all happening I managed to find the owners on Facebook. So my husband spoke with the officer and left to meet the family. This entire experience was awful and no animals should be left in the care of that horrid woman.

I have two cats that are here and they were accidentally dropped off by my grand father. They were well taken care of I called them Friday multiple times constantly to try and get them back they were brought it on Friday morning I found out Friday night when I came to get them and move out because we had to move. They were fed had water and everything they needed. Today I called them multiple times and they lied straight to my moms face saying all these twisted lies saying I left them alone without food water, and that we were gone for days when we were not These cats are me and my boyfriend‘s cats that I’ve had for almost a year. Now they are telling me I can not have my cats back Because they are supposedly being adopted within 24 hours. I am the original owner of these cats. They are telling me that I will be escorted off the property if I show up and try and get my cats back, Now I have a lawyer involved and will be going to court. My cats name are Ash and ember. In their system online, they are named Asher and ravioli I will be suing. I will be getting my cats back. I’m going to fight my hardest as the owner of these cats because they are my children. These are my babies as anybody who is a pet owner would understand. I don’t understand how this is right because they were accidentally brought in. My grandfather is 85 years old and has APS Against him, he will also be going to a home because he cannot take care of himself, and they are believing the words of a senile old man over the owner. The lies in the twisting of the story is ridiculous of this place. I don’t know understand how they can do this to somebody.

My 13 yr old cat got sick. And I knew she wasn't going to get better. So I called the humane society close to me. And had them put her to sleep. My heart was broken. I struggled to do this. They were very kind to me. They explained what they do. And helped me with cremation afterwards. So she will be with me the rest of my life. I recommend any who has to go through this, to go through it with the humane society. They are good .

They seem to really care about their animals. Very clean and nice inside. I love that they are a no kill shelter. Animals are beautiful souls meant to give unconditional love. I appreciate that this shelter takes that seriously. I love my new cat. Thank you for all that you do!
