I have always had positive experiences with adopting from this organization. I highly recommend considering them and giving their animals a chance if you’re looking to adopt. The staff is consistently welcoming and friendly. Over the years, I have adopted multiple animals from this organization and I anticipate adopting more in the future.

Today we’re celebrating Cali’s 5th birthday!

Cali is a Red Heeler/Border Collie mix who *loves* to fetch and has excellent recall, so she sticks close when we’re out doing yard work.

She was super nervous when we first got her, but now she’s so very happy and a beloved part of our family!

Adopted our sweet little three legged kitty from this wonderful shelter. He had his back leg crushed and it had to be amputated. He's a good lil boy. He can still play and run and make the biscuits. Thank you for blessing us with the adoption of a wonderful cat ? He has touched our lives and our hearts ♥️

My 90 year old grandmother rented a live trap from the humane society in March. She had emergency open heart surgery a few weeks later and spent over a month in the hospital. She is still actively recovering and just got home from the rehab unit last week. Unfortunately with everything going on, we completely forgot about the trap. Yesterday, we were contacted for the first time since renting to trap. They left just one voicemail and called back a few hours later threatening to call the sheriff’s department. If it was that big of a deal why weren’t we called before yesterday? And why would you resort to calling the police without even giving us 24 hours to respond? When we called back, the employee she spoke with was extremely rude. We had no intention of keeping the trap, we just had a family emergency and were not contacted prior to yesterday. This was handled very unprofessionally.

I went to the thrift store and it's ok for a thrift store. Not alot of good finds but it supports animals. Though I would give more money to them if they would become a no kill shelter and get a FREAKING TNR PROGRAM!!!!!!
