Rude I sent in an application and wasted a trip to Monroe to see a puppy I wanted. They now still haven't call/probably not even looked at my application. I seen on Facebook they are having other people having meet and greets with her after I wasted my time and gas going up there. Gladly I didn't pay them anything this is the worst place to go for an animal they kept showing me other dogs but I specifically told them which one I wanted. Took 1 and a half for them to just show me dogs I seen on facebook were available and picked the one I wanted. Yeah this place is rude, disrespectful and waste of time.

My cat was getting older and alone here. I went to the Humane and applied for another cat. The staff was nice and gave me Enzo! He's a little skeeky cat. Amazingly, the cats liked each other on meeting. Friends! I'm very happy with the service and people who care to find them homes. Thank you.

Be patient with the staff. Don't expect to walk out with your new pet that day. They will need to do a background check application and call references. If you are a responsible person, you should have no issues.

Ok I was putting in a review and lost it in short I was afioting a kitten that they sent home with me before the adoption was complete when the kitten was only 4 weeks old. Thank god I bought step up formula for this baby cause he wasn't hardly eating even soft food. Circumstances proved he was not a good fit with my current cat. So when I took him back the day before his neuter appoitment (which was scheduled to be a spay , thats a whole nother story though) I took him back with toys and a bed . They stuck this poor baby in a cage with kittens 5 times his size. He was so scared. I dont know if things would have been different if he would have stayed with his mom the proper amount of time. They gave him none of his toys and put him in a cage with all those big kittens. It was cruel and it was cruel to take a kitten away from mom at just 4 weeks old. I won't say don't adopt from here because these babies all need good homes. Just don't trust what they tell you. In my case had I not bought the formula to mix with food he would not have grown. Even though him and my cat were not a good fit he was safe. I would have kept fostering as I had a separate room the kitten was in. I just thought it would be best to have him where people could see all his cuteness to get him adopted. Please adopt from this place to get the animals out of there so they can get the love they deserve.they

Such a great little place with an awesome staff! We adopted “Green Bean” a couple weeks ago (her new name is Nala) they were so patient with us coming in every few days until we found our purrrfect girl 😉 she has adjusted so well with us. I think we will be back soon to adopt another! 🙂

They were great, we adopted a bonded pair, made the process extremely easy for us. They're doing great work for the animals. I have supported them since, we'll continue to support them. I encourage others to do the same.

I had a friendly stray cat that started coming around. The cat deserves a loving family. I contacted many adoption centers. However Humane Society was kind enough to be placed on a wait list. Staff was great at my calls checking the status. Saturday she was able to be accepted. The staff was kind and loving to the animals. I hope this sweet cat that loves small dogs finds a loving family.

I brought cat's and the dog's food as a donation and stayed to look around. This place is very clean and volunteers take a good care of those pets. I will definitely be back with more donations.

Snotty, rude, and not first come first serve. There's nothing wrong with my family or my home but they take it up on themselves to choose the best applicant for the dog, even though they didn't meet me or have me meet him or anything. How is it truly the best place for that dog if you won't let us even try? Forget y'all.
