HPP Cares took on an overwhelming task in Fall of 2022 with the CalHFA ADU Grants. Although they had to adjust and at times had poor communication or conflicting information, they came through and provided us with all the help and support needed. They took on clients from throughout the state and were able to successfully expand to accommodate. They have adapted well and running a smoother program. Hopefully they can accept new grant funds and clients with the State's additional funding to help more people. Thanks to everyone at HPP Cares!

After a complicated, lengthy, and confusing process, we received our grant funds and can now build for our future and the future of our disabled child.

It took a lot to get to this place and we are very appreciative of the personal involvement of Katherine, the executive director for HPP Cares. A few days before the holiday she did everything she could to make sure the process was closed out and we received our funds. We are very grateful for everything she did and hope others can realize the same sense of relief when their process is complete.

I took the webinar with Katherine Peoples on December 3, 2022. The class was comprehensive, informative, and straightforward. Although it was very long, I was impressed with the presentation. As a result, I made an appointment with Nancy Ruiz on December 6th at 1 PM and waited to be contacted. Then nothing. I scheduled a second appointment with Nancy Ruiz on December 7th at 1:30 PM and again waited for the phone call unnecessarily. I called the office and was unable to speak with anyone or even leave a voicemail because the mailbox was full. I eventually spoke with Charlie. I explained my situation and asked to speak with Katherine Peoples. I received a phone call from Nancy Ruiz on December 21st. She had no idea what she was talking about. It was extremely obvious that she was new. She had difficulty using the computer and couldn't answer simple questions. She told me that someone more senior would get back to me within 24-48 hours. Today is January 12th. I called the office on Monday morning and again asked to speak with Katherine Peoples. Charlie answered the phone and questioned me about my motives. He said there was no one available to speak with me. I gave him my phone number and email and three days later, I have yet to hear from anyone from the organization. I have lost so much valuable time because of the lack of consideration. If you have all the time in the world to realize your project and are fine with being disrespected by indifference by all means, go with HPP doesn't Care.

HHP cares is now #1 in my book, great communication and great follow through. Thank You Diana, Katherine, and Denys. I appreciate all of your hard work. This is in regards to the ADU Grant program. They helped me every step of the way. Their communication and customer service is too notch.

They have been nothing but the best! I’m extremely pleased with the way HPP CARES helped me.I paid a lot more prior to calling HPP CARES & that was a huge mistake because they have the best prices! They also will discuss payment options with you if you’re going thru financial hardship. Whenever you call make sure you, “Ask for Katherine!”. I recently had to call HPP Cares - not only did she remember me but she immediately came to my aid. I was nervous about the response I would receive but I explained, “The only problem is I have limited funds but will pay you all I have now & can have the rest this Friday.” She said, “I don’t want you to stress about money right now, we have bigger issues to handle. Listen, pay me the remainder Friday after next.” I was blown away by her response! The employees of HPP Cares are all miracle workers! The team was extremely understanding of my living/financial situation.

-Beautiful Clean Work Location
-Professional Staff

We were sent emails congratulating us on being awarded the ADU grant fund informing us that they will contact us shortly to go over the rest of the process. We were extremely happy and informed our family and adu manufacture the news only to have them call my husband several hours later to disregard the email and that someone would contact us. This was 3 days before Christmas. Today is Jan. 9th with no contact from our account manager or anyone from the company. We have sent emails with the same response which is them saying nothing that answers our questions and to contact our new account manager. They give us the email but no phone number.
This is so unprofesstional and upsetting. How horrible of a business to call yourselves caring and yet fail to do just that.
