When I got stuck in some mud with my 10’ box truck, I called a few places and they were very expensive but Hines was reasonable and quick to get there.
They helped get me out in a few minutes and the tow guy was super kind and helpful! Very good company and if I need help again I’ll definitely call them first.

We had a horrible experience with this place. Our Chevy Impala (145k miles) that always ran well had a sudden engine problem the same day as our second vehicle became undriveable. Very unfortunate circumstances but we had the money to fix it and just needed people who knew what they were doing. We first took it to another mechanic that sold us an easy fix that didn't work. Hines was the second place we took our car to in a very desperate time sensitive circumstance. (Time sensitive because people need their cars to get to and from places, including work!) We explained to them that this was the second go at fixing this, thinking they would actually attempt to fully diagnose the issue. After their 'diagnostic', they sold us $1.3k of fixes. Brian swore up and down they were all necessary for the car's health and related to the current issue. Okay. They do the work, we're informed of a warranty on all parts and labor. Fine.

My car did not make it 7 whole days without repeating the exact same issue in the exact same manner. As soon as we called them Monday morning the games began. They let us know they would call us back to tell us when we they would have a time to look at it on Monday. No call after 2+ hours, so we take it in ourselves. Not only did they apparently not look at the car at all they didn't even call us and kept our vehicle overnight without notice. They continued the stonewalling into the next day when we show up halfway through the day and ask for an update. They apparently have been looking at it but aren't done. I ask what they are doing. Brian tells me they're doing a compression test on the engine that they apparently didn't do before because it's "not standard" to fully diagnose the issue and they don't have the results yet. (This is not even true. The first mechanic we took it to did a compression test as the first step to diagnose.) Keep in mind we originally told them this is a second opinion and we want them to actually fix it and fully diagnose and inspect and they chose not to while framing it like they were, apparently. It definitely felt like they were intentionally dragging their feet, either to get us to abandon our rights to repair under their so called warranty or to invent a reason why they're not responsible for fixing it and it all stemmed from them apparently deciding to pick and choose what to look at to sell us unnecessary fixes. I took my car back in the end because I couldn't play stupid games with them forever and have a job to go to. Needing your vehicle fixed and serviced in a timely manner was definitely something these people have no concept of. It feels like they never had any intention to fix our vehicle and likely saw candidates they could scam who would come back over and over for half-ass attempts at repair. If you have an older vehicle just avoid all together, as a complicated issue may be out of their capabilities. Btw, whenever they reply arguing with this review just know anything they say to reframe the narrative was never communicated with us and they are only trying to save face.

Hines is the only place that I’ll take my vehicles for check ups and repair. Wonderful staff, quick diagnosis, and fair pricing. I’ve even had to use their towing services, which was as painless as a situation like that can be. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love these guys! I was having trouble with my car. At first i personally thought it was my alternator. they checked it and it was fine. Few weeks passed and I started having trouble again so I took it back up there. They did the diagnostic test for free and found the actual problem. Fixed it right up and it only took a few hours. I highly recommend these guys. Thank you all at Hines!!

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Bryan at Hines Service Center. My car needed some urgent repairs, and I was lucky enough to work with him. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to listen to my concerns, and went above and beyond to explain the repair process in detail. He made sure I understood every step, which really put my mind at ease.

What impressed me most was how Bryan kept me updated throughout the process, letting me know what was happening with my car, and when it would be ready. His friendly demeanor and genuine care for customers truly made a difference! His dedication and exceptional service made my experience unforgettable.

I had a wonderful experience with Hines! I walked in without an appointment, they were able to work me in for an oil change very quickly. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and the team was knowledgeable and kind. I’ve used them for a few things and I would definitely recommend their services. They also had yummy snacks 👀 Thanks for great service and I’ll see you next time!

While vacationing our vehicle decided to quit running. The guys at Hines Service Center provided us with a tow, a ride to Enterprise Rental and sent us on our way to continue vacationing. They communicated with us about the diagnosis, the fix and the cost. Had our car ready for us when we came back through. Friendly, professional and in my opinion went above and beyond for us.

I want to be as fair as I can be with my review, I don't give a 1 star lightly, but in light of spending over 500.00 on a fix that never happened and as you can see, my check engine light is STILL on.....

So when I took my VW in and it was looked at, I was told a spark plug and coil had to be replaced because of carbon build up, ok....autozone checked the code for me and it said nothing about that area, but I said hey they should know better then me right?

I'm just a single women who doesn't know that much about cars.

So I gave them ALL of my savings I had spent 4 months saving up and THOUGHT I got the issue fixed.

Literally the next day, same issue is still happening, car can't idle without check engine light blinking and coming on, it sputters when it's warming up.

Autozone had said the code showed the mass air flow valve was faulty, this place NEVER ONCE fixed that issue, they in fact ignored it all together and did what they wanted.

At this point, they let me come back and they do the testing for free, and tell me we can replace everything again incase the parts were bad, again they do this for free, BUT here's the kicker.

They never actually did another fix and here's how I know they lied to me.

My carfax shows EVERY SINGLE TIME I have work done on it, no matter how small, it's on there automatically. My carfax shows the first "fix", but it doesn't show anything else ever being done to it.

Hines Service Center, not only didn't fix my issue, they LIED to my face about fixing it a second time, AND they couldn't even give me paperwork on the second "fix" either.

In short, I am out 550.00, nothing got fixed, they scammed me because i'm a woman and I can not recommend this place if you are a female driver, thank you.

Update as of: September 26th, 7:38pm.

They also falsify records.

I got a notice on my car fax that apparently I magically had work done yesterday but I didn't, I was at work and my schedule shows I was at work and all the times I loged in and out on my time card. They falsified a report to cover their butt.

Update #2: 10:23pm: September 28th:

The reply from the business to my review here, all that information that they are sharing, this is the very first time I've heard about any of that.

None of that information was ever said to my face.

They never did any second work on my vehicle.

They can claim they have paperwork, all they want, anyone can falsify a record by just typing up whatever you want, they're just trying to cover their butt.

They cannot be trusted if you are a female driver. They treat male drivers differently than they treat female drivers, they're lying.

My check engine light is still on at the end of the day.

I am still having the same issues that I had when I went in there and gave them over $500. They scammed me because they saw an easy stupid target, and now I have no more savings, and I don't know what I'm going to do, but I know one thing that I'm gonna do and that's going to be speaking to a lawyer.

Update February 1st 2025:

Because they did not fix my car the way that they should have, my engine is now totaled and done.

It is ruined.

I have to get a whole new engine, because the issue that supposedly got fixed, never got fixed as told to me by a new mechanic and, the issue he showed me what it was and it was exactly what I said it was this entire time, the mass air flow valve, now my whole engine is shot.

Hines did not repair it the way they needed to, so the issue got exasperated, it got worse and now my car is done, I have no car because of them.

So you best believe it may take a while, but a lawsuit will be happening and they refused to give me my money back by the way, even though they never did any work.
