I had the misfortune of being stuck in Anchorage without money and the only option was a shelter. The first place that I found was CWS on 56th. When I tell you, Mandy made me feel welcome. I was nervous but her energy was so caring and sympathetic that I relaxed a bit. She have me valuable information about the navigation system here in Anchorage and just was a very nice human. Also, they run a tight ship so as far as a shelter goes, i felt relatively safe, if that makes sense. Vince was the same, genuinely caring and sympathetic and just so kind. I told him that we were lucky to have him taking care of us. Danny was also very nice. Okay, a shelter is not a place where I wanted to be but CWS was a good hearted place, safe as can be under the circumstances and seems to be doing good for the community. This company is very fortunate to have caring supportive staff.

I've only been here two nights, the staff repeatedly did nothing when a client would not stop talking all night. There were five noise complaints and staff did nothing to preserve quite after hours.Too bad another Ben okie disaster scene arising. Or so it seems, this is outrageous that a non - profit would conduct themselves in the good old city of Alaska. This is not to mention most staff is belligerent, and defensive as if I'm some kind of perpetrator. Will speak with head and pursue legal action if necessary.

Henning group moved me on a days notice out of the aviator'hotel.
I had no write up don't smoke don't drink Don't do drugs.
They said I did not inter act with the case workers. I have COPD and plantars fasciitis and have hard time getting around.
I just had brought my down into the room because I had to leave the window open because my roommate stunk so bad.
It effected my breathing. Then they told me we were leave at 12 30 at 10 am they told me to get into the van.
Without my gear and they would get it the next load. Went back called they finally told me everything I owned was gone a 500 dollars sleeping bag 3 pairs of Charhearts worth 150 a piece. All my medications my ensole for my plantars fasciitis.
Which was getting better and now my feet are killing me. Shoes lithium battery pack for starting cars blue tooth speaker. All and all over 1000 dollars worth of things.
Then they said I could leave my truck there for thirty days. I went up on day seventeen it had been towed.
No one there knew what towing company towed it. So I had to call All around to find it.
That racked up a 438 dollar towing bill.
That is approximately 2000 dollars I lost I am going to have to replace my bag.
After wearing the same clothes for 18 days. One person told me CWS told me I smelled like pis car was down.
I finally got someone to take me to value village to get some pants. So I had something clean to wear.
I would like to see both case workers fired and replaced.
After talking with more people similar stores come up.
At CWS the y told me the aviator'hotel was not affiliated with CWS right next to my bed at CWS it says Henning group. Which was all over
I was just getting all caught up on my bills. Now I am stuck with bills

The people involved with Henning are amazing human beings. Shawn and her team go above and beyond to help people and to prevent homelessness. The world needs more people like the folks that work at Henning. A true leader in helping a part of society where others turn away.

We are getting kicked out of hotel because of these people. Because we aren't their homeless people. Also nobody supervises these people they bring with them. It's made it really uncomfortable to be here. I feel like I can't take my daughter outside any time of day. There's always yelling and fighting; either above us late at night, or outside. We have a camper parked here. Shortly after everybody from the Henning inc moved in, one of our windows was shattered.
