Safety Officer D’amico was unprofessional, disrespectful, unempathetic, rude and obnoxious. I happened to lose track of time and was there in the cemetery after closing hours due to having to go there after work to clean up my loved ones grave site for his birthday the next day. This officer started beeping her horn aggressively yelling at me to “get back into my vehicle now” on her vehicle intercom. Then she stated to me “you lucky I didn't write you a ticket”. We then exchange words and I told her how unprofessional she was.Then she proceeds to tell me good luck on finding my way out the cemetery since all the gates are closed except one and then drove off. I encourage your organization to let this employee go, she’s unprofessional, lacks therapeutic communication, lacks empathy and decorum for the position she’s in and the location she is assigned. I will be reaching out to her captain as well. This incident occurred on 11/08/2023 @ Greenfield Cemetery.

Fake illegitimate agency that does absolutely NOTHING to contribute to "Public Safety". They're nothing but glorified meter maids who do nothing but write parking summonses to generate revenue for the Town. Glad they're all in brand new decked out vehicles though. Keep them safe as they drain the pockets of struggling Nassau residents who already pay some of the highest taxes in the state.

Officer D’Amico was kind, courteous, and helpful. She assisted me at Elmont Road park when I had fallen. I really appreciated her help and glad she was there!
