Their Greek Festival (twice a year) is so very special. Don't order ahead. Wait in line, savor the moment, the sounds, aromas and company. What to order from the menu-just order it all you cannot go wrong. Mid afternoon is good to get in and out if in a hurry, late afternoon for festivities. Come ready to enjoy.

Tail end of the Greek festival was disappointing. It makes no sense to wait on line for over an hour for Greek food when no one’s more than a few minutes away from the nearest branch of Four Brothers. No live band either, only a recording, which means that one could’ve gotten the whole experience on YouTube. Besides that, the grounds are well maintained, as is the paved parking lot.

The indoor space has been updated and looks great!. Big hardwood dance floor, separate bar space, really high ceilings, IDK much about acoustics but the band sounded really good. Just great for any event IMHO. The bar area can be separated for smaller get togethers. The event I attended was catered but from what I could see the kitchen seems to be commercial grade. I assume if you rent out the space you can prepare your own food. I have no idea the max capacity is but the night I was there id say about 150 people.
The huge parking lot and the outside of the Hellenic Center are really the only issues I saw. They could both use some upgrading and sprucing up.

We rented this space for a volunteer event, it was extremely accommodating in terms of space, full kitchen, and clean bright bathrooms. The person who we were in contact with were kind and helpful and a blessing!

I'm not a member, but this center is definitely worth visiting for their Greek Festivals in the Summer. The Souvlaki, Giro, and just about any of deserts during the festivals make for a fun and delicious department lunch or family dinner out.
