One star off for a small bed. The 1-bedroom is quite big with gigantic fridge but a queen size bed? I have been living in 3 continents and for a room like this, always get a king size. Me and my husband are quite small (size XS, and M) and we both feel cramp for this small bed. Also, most of people who live there are families and there are lots lots of kids and they can be loud.

Except these, the apartment is quite nice. It's good if you will stay in Cornell for a short period of time so you don't need to search for rooms in Ithaca (competitive for the good location and most sign 1 year contract) and it has all the basic necessities. Plus, the location is in the nature area so you get a lot of bird visitors.

We loved living here. The maintenance team is on top of it, and the office staff is friendly. We wish there was a dish washer, but we would definitely live here again.

Only been living at the Hasbrouck Community Center for about two months, but it already feels like home. This community is an incredible haven for Cornell students, faculty, and scholars. The support, camaraderie, and resources available here have made settling in smooth and welcoming. Love this apartment complex. The maintenance staff are absolutely incredible and extremely hardworking. They were always flexible and pleasant to interact with. The community center staff and management are also great.

The apartments themselves lack a lot of basic amentities such as air conditioning, dishwashers, laundry, living room lighting, bathroom fans, etc.

Location is fantastic! A 15-20 minute walk into the middle of campus quads. Lots of great trails nearby as well.

The only downside to this apartment complex (or plus depending on your situation) are the loud children mentioned in other reviews. This location is great for families, but so many of the children are extremely loud (no, really) and often unchecked by parents. This is no fault of the apartment complex and mostly comes down to poor parenting.

Overall, we genuinely loved our time here and would strongly recommend this for international students.

Hasbrouck is perfect for our family (two adults and two preschoolers). The location is the best part. We can easily walk to campus or take the bus which comes every 10 minutes. It's a quick drive to everything we need: the Y, Target, grocery stores, restaurants, the Sciencenter, etc. In the summer, I hop on my bike, and within 20 minutes I can go through the golf course adjacent to the apartments, up the road past a horse farm, through a field, into the woods that border a cliff overlooking a beautiful stream. The apartment and amenities are totally fine for the price. The community center staff and volunteers go above and beyond what I'd typically expect. I definitely recommend it!
