If you are in need of a place to volunteer.....head here! There are three locations within the valley and it is such a great organization!
This organization helps families who need help with food (fresh, canned/boxed, and frozen) and provides clothing items to guests. During the holidays, they provide turkeys and presents for kids!
We have been volunteering a little more than a year (as a family) and it is literally one of the best choices we have made. My husband and I bring our two kids, who help in various ways in the center....and feel so useful and proud each time we leave. They love meeting guests, and being able to provide for others. (The centers allow kids to help with adults, as long as it's a 1:1 ratio)
Signing up to volunteer is SO easy.....everything is done online and the volunteer coordinator is SUPER AWESOME! All the staff and volunteers truly care about the guests and their situations, and work to make shopping at Harvest a positive and worthwhile experience.
Harvest is also the only place that we donate items to! They take gently used clothing, shoes, diapers, wipes, new toys, and un-opened food.
This is an amazing organization that is available to anyone who needs a little extra love and support AND for people looking for a great place to volunteer!

These amazing individuals helped my family on Saturday and I am so grateful ?

I had clothes new and used, brand new toys, and diapers that do not fit my son, so I dropped off today at this place. I'll never take anything to Goodwill. I'd rather parents get what I have for them and their family.

Thank you for helping us! God Bless you all!

Important points:
-Bring your ID and a piece of mail confirming your address.
-You can visit once every 30 calendar days.
-There is a kid's activity corner if you need to bring the little ones.

I have visited this location 3 times. Each time, I was treated kindly and with the utmost respect. Each time, I was given a large quantity of fresh and canned food, hygiene products, and diapers and wipes.
These folks are genuine, good-hearted people trying to give back to the community. If you need help, this place is an amazing place to receive it.

I first stumbled upon Harvest Compassion Center years ago when meeting the owner that was just starting her first store at the local Chamber of Commerce to introduce her concept and her store. Nicolee Thompson was so down to earth, creative and authentic, I felt compelled to check out how her vision was coming to be. The store was quite new. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was special. Picture a mini Walmart, but with a soul. They've got everything from food to clothes, shoes to school supplies, even personal items and diapers - all the essentials.

What really struck me was how clean and organized everything is. The clothes? All washed, ironed, and looking brand new. They are even all hung up in order by size...etc. And get this - there's even a play area for kids while parents shop. It's these little touches that show how much thought they put into making everyone feel comfortable.

What I love most is their approach. No awkward questions, no government forms. Just genuine help for folks who need a little boost. Everyone who walks in is treated with real dignity and warmth.

I've made it a habit to donate everything I can to them. What's cool is that even if they can't use something, they always find someone who can. Nothing goes to waste. And, check out their website to learn the story behind why they started HCC. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by to understand how special it is. Whether you need a hand or want to lend one, trust me, you'll walk out feeling good. It's more than a store - it's a reminder of how much good there is in our community.

Please check out their website because each store has their own hours.

Nice staff. Wednesday seems to be a great day to go. Only 10 people here waiting in the whole room.. Make sure you have a bill or mail with your address. Just watched 2 people in a row be told they need proof of address.. clean waiting area with toys and playplace for kids. Also a TV in waiting area. Clothing, hygiene items, and food.
