We love the Friday cocktail hour. We go visit our friends living there. They offer drinks and snacks for all residents and guests. We bring some snacks too. Today they had shrimp with sauce, Brie cheese, and salmon patties. The facility is gorgeous and the live music is a little loud but nice. Today’s theme was “on a cruise” with residents wearing visors, captain hats, or sailor hats. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

My husband moved into Harbor Terrace in October. The facility is beautiful. The staff is so kind and caring. He was in a another facility before the move to Harbor Terrace. The difference is night and day. I feel that the staff here cares about him. I feel when I am not there he is safe. There are activities, get-togethers and delicious food. He is in the memory wing, but weekly events include everyone from the building, independent living, assisted living and nursing care. It is a wonderful chance to socialize. Residents are encouraged to get involved and not sit in their rooms, a huge change from his previous facility. I would recommend Harbor Terrace if you are looking for a home for your loved one.

Having previously lived in a competing facility in Muskegon I have a frame of reference for evaluating Harbor Terrace. Having now live here 3 months I find it very well managed with a competent well trained staff for a new facility. The staff go out attending to our needs with many activities that make it a fun place to live. I highly recommend recommend this facility.
