Had a great experience volunteering and giving back to the community today. I worked with some very humble, caring, kind hearted people. We spent several hours building a home for a very fortunate family. Jordan was our team lead and he was very knowledgeable and communicated with everyone very professionally.

If you are reading this, look up Habitat for Humanity and give a few hours to help a family with your sweat labor.

Habitat for Humanity is a great organization and they are doing some very good things in Omaha, for the people of Omaha. They have several programs to help families become a home owner.

11 students and I spent a day with a little demo and a lot of framing with construction foreman Randy. Great day. Randy taught us a lot, fun work alongside the owner and beautiful weather.

They do absolutely amazing work building affordable homes for lower income families as well as assisting in financing of homes. Our church has volunteers that will periodically help for one day in remodels.

Called today wanting to donate a house full of basically new furniture. They must not need donations that badly as I could not get a pick up till Dec 14th and they offer no help getting the furniture out of the house. I am 1 person and there is no way I can move all the furniture to my driveway on my own. Nonetheless, there could be snow on the ground which would only damage all the furniture!! Left a bad taste in my mouth after my son & daughter help build many houses in Mexico for Habitat for Humanity!

I always have loved this store; there is a new program that appeared as a wonderful for people who really need to make repairs at home. There are two ladies who are in charge of this program that do not answer your questions. I won't blame Habitat for Humanity which is a great as I mentioned above. I think these ladies are not well supervised at all. They are left alone doing whatever they want to do without any type of supervision. They both are doing nothing. If you want to follow up about your application, they always will put you on hold without any answer. It is sad that customers are being threated in this poor way. I think the manager of this department need to supervise better this program or these two ladies. I hope my contribution can improve this wonderful program because Habitat for Humanity , and its clients need to get a better customer service attention style.

I rate them a five because I love this organization. I called to see if they wanted a free 44” but 14 year old tv and they stated it was too old.

I'm going to be a first time homeowner and this is a great program to go through. I've learned a lot by doing sweat equity hours and taking required classes. This program really sets you up to be a successful homeowner and being a single parent, this was the best option for me.
