This place is great if you know what to expect. Some of these other reviews seem to expect a place above your average home improvement store but this isn't really that place. It's more like a Thrift Store but for home improvement projects and at that, they do a great job. I have been here multiple times as I am on my second house that isn't new so this store is perfect. My house has old style switches and when I went there, I noticed they had the new ones that are more flat. I bought a few for like .50 cents each. There prices are generally great but sometimes they ask for a bit much on some of the furniture if it's nice. I'd be willing to bet they would negotiate with you to make space though. I have brought donations and it wasn't a problem at all.

TLDR: In short, this is a Home Improvement Thrift store for people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty or understand that there are risks in buying second hand. We all have been putting off projects so if money is the reason, this place might be able to help!

Took some gently used household items along with some new, still in box fans and lamps. The guy that came out to the car started going thru the items while they were still in my trunk, picking and choosing what he wanted, saying they had a backlog of items so they apparently just wanted to cherry pick. I let him take what he grabbed initially and then stopped his rummaging and took the rest to Goodwill, who happily accepted everything and provided a receipt.

I've stopped here a few times in past year. Lately I find things/items priced ridiculously high! They obtain stuff 'free' and their goal is to achieve a successful profit. How utterly sad and it's the same for Goodwill. No thanks, I'll shop elsewhere!

I come here regularly. I've had so many positive interactions here along with some excellent values. The prices are very very fair. I think some other reviewers expect thrift store prices from the 1980's and are out of touch with new retail prices. If you need something, just ask the volunteers or employees. They've always been really friendly and super helpful. Rich in particular is a phenomenal resource. Thank you all!

I scheduled a pickup and they never came out or called. When I scheduled the pickup they said it would be a week before they could come by. They also said that they would give me a call 30 minutes before arriving.

On the day of the pickup I never received a call. At about noon I decided to call them to see if they had a projected time since I had already been waiting 4 hours. I left a message asking to be called back. I didn't get a call back. At 2pm I started calling every 45 minutes to see if I could reach a person. No one ever answered.

I waited a week for no pickup, no returned calls, and a day spent waiting for them.

If you're looking for a place to donate to if look elsewhere. I've donated to them before but not anymore.

People at the Restore are OK but the 2 a-holes (2 White guys) who came out to pick up our donations today were awful especially the fat bearded guy. The bearded guy said there was a small stain on the couch and he refused to take it unless I made a $50 donation to Habitat. The back of his truck was covered in broken glass pieces. Also, he never called us 30 minutes prior to his arrival like he’s supposed to do! He said $50 was the cost of taking it to the dump, but you know he probably just donated it to Goodwill and never paid a dime! So I donated nice building supplies, a charcoal BBQ and the fat bearded guy used extortion to force me to donate $50 to Habitat For Humanity because he knew I didn’t have a large enough vehicle to take the couch. Go straight to the store to donate but don’t have these scam artists in their truck come and pick up your donations!

The staff is friendly and helpful but their prices in the past year have risen to basically retail prices. I used to get really good deals here all the time but now I find something I like just to see its basically the same price new. Its hard because I want to support them but I also need to support myself and can't afford retail pricing thats why I shop there. I feel like they should make it more affordable considering the items are donated and the people purchasing are usually low income.

Surprised to read bad reviews... the people there have always been wonderful when we've worked with them furnished many rentals and fixer uppers through the years. They get some really good stuff! They have always been negotiable, helped with loading and have been easy to work with in the donation process too.
