We drove from South Central Los Angeles, CA to pick up a wood table and chairs complete unit. It became the standard for the three other's.

Been coming to Habitat for the humanity for many years, always find great items for my home, from decor to furnishings. Haven’t been here in over 5 years, was very impressed on how nice and very organized the store looks now, many beautiful furniture and decor at still great prices. Looking for some chairs found some outside, didn’t think anyone would buy them, decided to look around, walked out someone had bought them, if you see something you like, buy it or have the cashier give you a hold note, or someone will buy it. That’s what happened to us, we will continue to come ones a week, see if we are lucky to find chairs.

I love shopping at Habitat for Humanity. I've purchased everything from kitchen cabinets to a built-in microwave oven, to furniture, to a washer and dryer, and much more. My experience is always pleasant. The team "Samantha and Christina " is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to assist customers. The store is clean, well organized and usually full of great products available at fantastic prices...

It's not recommended to shop here! This organization in Los Angeles seems to have lost its way. They hardly accept personal item donations and are very picky about what they do take. If it's something from a poorer person that looks unattractive or isn't worth much, they definitely won't want it. They most likely only accept brand new items, preferably in large quantities. It no longer feels like an environmentally-friendly effort to repair, reuse, and care for the Earth; it feels more like a commercial enterprise. Perhaps they have relationships with some big companies and engage in potential exchanges of benefits, but I can't say for sure. Overall, it feels like Habitat is no longer the charming place it used to be, and finding treasures has become much harder. If you have extra cash, donating to other organizations might be a better option. At least you can feel more at ease regarding trust and discrimination.

They took the Armoire and nite stands since it was in decent shape. Goodwill and Amvets are not taking furniture.

A treasure hunter's paradise. Remodeling? Restorations? Design ideas? This is the place. From ceiling to floor to patio and everything in between. Inventory changes all the time so keep coming back. On this visit I picked up a brand new Portofino Stone Top Side Table that retails for $279. Habitat Restore price...$40!
