I waited before leaving a review just because I was so heated when I left the Humane Society. When I initially went inside the Blonde lady at the front desk, let me know that they weren’t able to take the two kittens I had found which I understand .i didn’t argue with her we were just talking about options. My problem is with the curly haired heavyset woman that was sitting in the office behind the front desk. She jumps into the conversation already with an attitude. when I told her that I had found these kittens, which by the way we’re getting eaten by a hawk, she tells me the kittens aren’t her problem because I chose to pick them up. I need to take care of them. She also said if you see kittens to leave them I then tell her so I’m just supposed to let them die and she says well how do you know they were gonna die and I then proceeded to tell her because a hawk was eating them. I saw no remorse on this woman’s face not for being rude to me or Rejecting these poor kittens. even after hearing the story of what happened. To work in a place like this and have no heart this woman needs to be fired or quit because she was so cold hearted. I feel bad for any animal she comes across cause she will walk away not caring if it perishes .She is not there because she loves animals she’s there for the job.

Many animals . Some with infected eyes and untested puppies which had not been checked for outbreak of parvovirus
No signs to warn visitors of possible contamination. I was verbally warned by a staff member before signs were put up on my visit to this center.

The adoption process was good. I brought my dog to visit with Pixie for an hour before adopting her. They got along well. Pixie is doing great here in my home with another dog and my cat as well.

They say theyre taking kittens and cats but dont have space. Hmmm 🤔. And you have to wait for an email. I did that last time and got a very late response. So much for helping out. It is on the "boujee" part of town tho figures right. Theyll see my name and glaze over it.

We adopted our dog during an adoption event and it was the best thing we ever did. She is super sweet and kind and we have been able to train her. She had heartworm when we adopted her and they have been able to help us with the treatment. We appreciate how kind they have been to us and how well they have treated our pup. Thank you for all the great things you do for all the fur babies out there. Hopefully in the future we will be able to adopt another dog or cat when we have more space .
