I go 23 different centers for my workouts. Broadview, the side and the east side. my great grandchildren take advantage of child watch, and they love it as well. The friendships I have made will be long-lasting.

if you are coming here to get a good workout in (with weights) this review is for you. the gym is upstairs, which can take a second to find. there are 3 different rooms with equipment, and it can seem like a maze at first. most of the equipment is in alright shape. some of the barbells and dumbells do have a brown “rust” color to them as it is dirt and grime over the years. the crowd that seems regular here are older folks, so do not slam weights (deadlift or bail a squat) without thinking you won’t get stared down. as a female as well, there have been some incidents where i have felt very uncomfortable around some of the people here, who think it is okay to say comments or stare. the parking lot is also extremely small.

The entire Staff was very accommodating when my Mother’s apartment complex shut the water off to the facility prior to our family trying to get ready for a funeral. They allowed us to use their facility. We are so grateful for their hospitality.

Has a good amount of machines, but they are extremely dirty. I doubt they wipe or clean them as they look the same every time. There is always chunks of dirt.

I also got an infection on my foot, do NOT use the hot tub.

Overall, for the price it’s fine. Staff is very friendly and the track is nice when it’s snowing out. It’s convenient.

We got into the pool around 1 o’clock. We went into that giant diving well, it was good until they opened up the diving board. There was a guy jumping then spinning then diving so my brother did that, as soon as he did it, he got yelled at. The lifeguards need to pay more attention. The lifeguards are super rude.

Great staff, clean facilities, conveniently located. People talking on phones the entire workout, young people camping out on equipment playing with their phones; that’s a big problem. Extremely irritating.

I like this YMCA. Staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable when it comes to the personal trainers. The kids programs are great because they promote social skills and physical activity. Finally, the facility and equipment are VERY clean and well taken care of.

The only thing that I’m not a fan of is that the weight room seems crowded if you get 6+ people in there. Besides the weight room, I love this YMCA and would recommend it to a friend!

I love that they schedule swims, but I can never get in to swim now. It is the whole reason I joined. The weekend hours are far too short. They are booked the entire day already. Is there a more equitable way people can get in to swim?
