This organization is a blessing to young families. We received support here for speech-delay related early interventions, assessments for prematurely born twins, and couldn't be happier. The staff is very responsive, compassionate and an excellent partner to young parents. ★★★★☆
Highly recommend Sydney Arroyave, our very friendly and very responsive coordinator who helped us find multiple child development and childcare providers. ★★★★☆

This organization is a blessing to young families. We received support here for speech-delay related early interventions, assessments for prematurely born twins, and couldn't be happier. Early intervention not only ensured the twins were caught up, it got them thriving and reaching milestones way ahead of time. The staff is very responsive, compassionate and an excellent partner to young parents.
Highly recommend Sydney Arroyave, our very friendly and very responsive coordinator who helped us find multiple child development and childcare providers.

They seem to have spent all of their funding on their fancy office building.

We went in for an evaluation and orientation for services for my son who is on the spectrum and have never heard back. We’ve called and emailed our case manager, his supervisor, and his boss for over a year and have not heard back (pre COVID). My 4 year old son has been without services for that long and COVID-19 doesn’t help. I wouldn’t even say they should be ashamed of themselves because there really seems to be no shame in what they are doing.

We used to be with GGRC San Mateo. Even though they deal with a lot of turn over there, they get things done and are responsive.

If you are having a similar experience please file a complaint with the state. The San Francisco GGRC seems to be pocketing the funds that they are receiving from the state and donors.

The Golden Gate Regional Center is one of the nastiest regional centers. They retaliate against you if you file any complaint against their administrative staffs for being out of compliance against the laws. They mischaracterize the clients' medical and service needs in the IPP documents so that they could deny the clients needed services. This is a culture behavior that GGRC encourages, in fact dictated by their senior administrative staffs.
They take state and federal fund (from the tax payers) and they abused the funding through mismanagement. It is a toxic environment. Their service should be transferred elsewhere.

The receptionist of this regional center was extremely rude, condescending, and did not try to be helpful in the least. That is just bad customer service. I have not been able to get a hold of my son’s case worker for a while and it is very frustrating.
