We used the Gibson House as our wedding venue. This property is beautiful and so versatile. We held our ceremony on the porch of the house and needed minimal decorations because the house is picture perfect! The olive orchard is great for reception tables and the covered patio was perfect for food and bar. There was still plenty of room for yard games and dancing. For the price, this place is a steal! Katelyn Fine was fantastic to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly. She installed lights in the orchard and even redecorated the waiting area where I hid before the ceremony, providing cookies and sparkling water for me and my bridal party. She contacted me regularly to make sure all our bases were covered and ask if we needed anything else. I cannot recommend enough!

We attended the Art Show at the Art Barn on Saturday....A Spin on Art...Artists given assignment of Art using Vinyl records! WOW! WHAT A VARIETY OF VISUAL MESSAGES...OF BEAUTY AND HUMANITY, AND FUN!!!! GO SEE IT !! It's free but drop a few bucks in the donation jar...Dwight Head and Barbara Lockart , both artist, came f4om Sac to show AND will teach a workshop...workshop not free.

I coordinated a wedding here in mid May and this venue was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us access to the interior of the house for photos and decor. Parking can be a difficult thing, but so long as you account for that, Gibson House is a beautiful event location. Even in the heat of an almost 90 degree day the shade from the trees kept everyone comfortable, and there was plenty of space for every part of the wonderful wedding.

Absolutely beautiful property in woodland Ca. It is an old mansion with a lot of history with the town of woodland. We went there for my daughters wedding and it was like going back in time. They rent the yard for weddings or party's has bathrooms and a small clubhouse/kitchen area but only to keep food in not to prepare. Nonetheless it was beautiful!

Gibson House, Yolo County Historical Museum provides a wonderful look into life the way it used to be. It's open for tours Tuesday-Friday and on Saturdays.
