I have donated and shopped at Gateway and I love it. I have found some really neat items at a huge discount and in wonderful shape.
I would rather donate here because I know whoever buys it, the money is going towards helping people in our community. It’s wonderful that the employees are able to work, learn, grow, and make a better life for themselves. It’s definitely a win win!

This is my All Time favorite thrift store.Me My sisters and my niece went there a few times and we always buy something. The staff is wonderful and it’s a huge, well organized place. I’m definitely going back ❤️❤️

An ignorant, rude, cruel, awful, prejudice older white woman supervisor who called upon the white customer behind me when I was obviously the next one in line. She continued to ignore me, pretending I wasn't there, and then she called upon the next white patron who was behind me in line, too. She deliberately set it up whereas a poor, sweet, younger, brunette cashier in training to finally wait on me with my one single item to purchase. I was already having an anxiety attack by then, but I held my composure even though tears were welling up in my eyes, and I was starting to hyperventilate. However, it was not this young woman's fault, so I kept my composure. Then, before I left, I thanked the young woman in front of me for waiting on me that she is the only person who knows how to do their job there and to have a good night. Why was I treated as though I don't speak English by that horribly ignorant, obviously prejudice, woman? The only language I speak is English. I also had a white female friend next to me who is a witness to her obvious prejudice behavior which made me feel ugly, insignificant, and stupid. I'll be praying for God to forgive her ignorance. I'll also be praying for God to help me forgive her in my heart.

HRM'S gateway store is amazing. I cannot believe the deals. New and gently used. You name it. I walk out smiling every time. This is a great place to Christmas shop on a budget. They have a lot of NIB merchandise. We love this store. Holland Michigan is loaded with great second hand and retail outlets. I suggest you make a day of it and come see the opportunities in this town. All the items above were purchased at HRM. All at remarkable prices, and for a great cause!

Wow! What a huge store! Everything so organized-even colorized! They have men's and ladies and kids clothes, shoes, accessories, furniture, toys, books, etc. Proceeds benefit homeless shelters.

Gateway Mission is unlike any thrift store I’ve ever visited. The spacious layout and boutique environment give a high end vibe that is unbelievably unique. In the first five minutes I was there, my cart was full and I shopped for another two hours. The staff was so pleasant and professional. Only wish I lived closer (Kentucky). Otherwise, it would be my new favorite haunt. I also appreciated the Christian music playing overhead. Thank you.

One of my favorite thrift stores in Holland! If you go often you can find great home decor treasures to use as is or give a face lift. I’ve scored amazing baskets, vases, candle holders and table runners. It’s also my go to spot for winter wear. My little got an entire Obermeyer snow bib here for $20 along with a North Face Jacket for $12. Prices are fair but can occasionally be inconsistent. Make sure to download the app so you can earn points for discounts!
