ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Despite traveling over two hours to visit your facility, my experience was marred by rude lifeguards, inadequate staffing, and overly restrictive pool rules.

During my visit, I was consistently dismayed by the behavior of the lifeguards on duty. They were not only unfriendly but also yelled at both children and adults constantly. This created a hostile and unwelcoming environment that made it difficult for my family to enjoy our time at the pool.

Furthermore, I was disappointed to find that the facility was short-staffed, which seemed to contribute to the lifeguards' stress and irritability. The pool rules also seemed excessively restrictive, with no splashing allowed in the pool. To make matters worse, the slide was never opened for the kids, which was a major disappointment for my family.

Overall, my experience at your facility was extremely poor, and I would not hesitate to give it zero stars if possible. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and take immediate action to address these issues.

I paid for 4 swim lessons for my three year old but only received 2.5 lessons. The second week started late (waiting for the instructor and life guard to finish their chat) and was cut short because the only other kid to show up had to leave for bad behavior. Therefore, the instructor punished my child too by cutting her class short. It was a 12 min class, supposed to be 30 mins.

The last week of classes were cancelled due to an emergency and we showed up not having any clue. The older front desk lady said "it was posted on Facebook" not everyone has social media. A phone call would have been satisfactory so the disappointment wasn't as harsh on my 3 year old. Two of the four times we showed up for classes my kid left in tears.

I should add I've been trying to reach the aquatic director about this and she wont return our calls. A bummer because the facility seems pretty nice. Staff just appears lazy.

The attendance at the front desk have always been very helpful and kind. The gym is full of what I deemed to be newer to newest. The pool is first class if you want to do a swimming workout. And they have generous open pool hours as well.

We love this place. My daughter enjoys the swim classes, bathrooms are clean, equipment are new and well maintained. We enjoy our time at the YMCA.

I work at this YMCA. If you want a more relaxed and welcoming YMCA, this one is it. Very friendly staff and really clean facility.

Came up for the first time to the Francis Family Y because it looked so great. I called first because I was coming from Maumee/Holland, Ohio and didn't want to come up if the pool wasn't open. My 11 year old granddaughter wanted to come up for their pool as it has the slide and other fun options. I called 30 minutes before coming and was told they're open today, Monday, that it's open from 1-7. Unfortunately, I got here and was told, after going down to the pool, that it's closed until 5. We got here just before 4. When I went to the front desk, the two women there said that "no one would have told me that". So either they lied, or they're saying I'm lying. Well, my granddaughter was sitting right next to me in the car when I called, so I'm not the one lying. Someone answered that phone and misinformed me. What should have happened is, instead of trying to put it off on me, they should have cared about this child not having her swim time and just apologized, period. I stead they tried to put the problem off on me, and blame me for what happened. Then they got mad because I was angry. I was angry because they first misinformed me and then tried to blame me for their mistake.
Take responsibility and do better!!
