Sacred Stream is the real deal. They operate in integrity and with great authenticity. I was impressed by Isa whose teachings are insightful and culturally sensitive. The community is diverse, though I would like to see even more BIPOC people there! I received a partial scholarship for a class and found it was very easy to navigate the process and there is a designated student liason to help. I've enjoyed other events at Sacred Stream - free talk, drum circle, and an event with a Tibetan monk. All of the events were well managed and enjoyable. I heartily recommend the Sacred Stream teachers, courses, and events!

Isa is a wonderful person but the school still has underlying problems. If you are unable to pay and you need help they will do nothing for you. At the end of the day they are just a business and another reason why so many people who actually are suffering are unable to get the help they need.

I tried to get in touch with two practitioners of the in depth hypnosis therapy. It was very clear after a few confusing emails where I was unable to get a straight answer from them about a free consultation that they are really not in this to help others. The information really is fantastic. Absolutely the best run school I've come across. The underlying tones though are still of greed, classism, and bigotry.

Too many people practice Shamanism because they seek knowledge or do it because they think it's cool. If you just blindly give information away to anyone who has the money to pay, you are actively participating in the spread of black magic. Unless someone is fully prepared to act without any sin or any bad intention, this knowledge will only do harm.
