I have been donating to this foundation for a few years now. I recently wanted to donate a small accent chair. It was clean, no stains, rips, dirt or wear anywhere on the chair. After I had to CARRY this chair down from the send level of our building, they refused it. I'm sorry but you are really doing people in need a disservice by turning down perfectly good furniture. Other donators have posted the same opinion on this.

Although the first agent didn’t schedule my pick up properly, I called back and was told it was a mistake and she rescheduled and was very helpful and polite. I called to verify that I got an email with time frame but not a text. So she added me to text messages and I got a text when driver was arriving. The process was not perfect however everyone is very nice and polite and that matters a lot. Driver came promptly and was also very nice. I definitely will give donations again.

I don't understand. Their drivers drove over 45 minutes to get to my house. When they got here, they were to pick up a queen sized futon, a desk, big filing cabinet, with the hutches for both.

The driver was going to take all of it then remembered he had to text pictures for appoval. When he sent pictures they declined the desk and hutch due to basic wear and tear. They could have made more just taking all 4 items in the set as opposed to just 2. The truck and movers were already here. ? The pictures I've shared are the reason the desk was turned down. REALLY?!

I guess this foundation doesn't really need the money.

The drivers were Fabulous! They were told not to accept it when one sent the pictures.

Never seen a “charity” so picky about generosity before. Must not be desperate for donations these days if you’re only accepting mint condition goods. Anyone that’s considering donating, go with another place that’s more deserving.

If I could select no stars, that would be my rating. Scheduling the pick up was a breeze, although the first available date was nearly a week out. My scheduled time was 9a-12p. Got an email at 12:08p that the driver should arrive "soon." At approximately 2:45 when I hadn't heard anything, I called to get an update. I was told the driver arrived and was unable to access the gate because he didn't have a code - the code was provided at the time of scheduling; and she said the driver called me and got voicemail - no missed calls on my end. Will not use this organization in the future.

We love the donation pick up service! We have donated several times and always leave our items outside for pick up. Most recently, we donated furniture so I had the opportunity to be there for the pick up and engage with the 2 gentlemen, Angel & Enoch. They were professional and friendly, handling our items with care. My mother died from breast cancer; thank you for all that you do; we appreciate you!

Really believed this organization was interested in good condition items that someone else in need would be willing to cherish. They literally want pristine items, preferably expensive looking/ modern and not heavy so they can resell. (I also noticed they only took all my light items, none of the “heavier” ones were taken even if they were in really good condition). Like this couch (picture attached) that was in really good condition.

I usually don’t like writing bad reviews but the bottom line is… if you value your time, want your good pieces to go to a good organization, and want all of your pieces likely gone… Please just save your time and donate to Vietnam Veterans of America, goodwill, or list online for free, furniture will truly go to someone in need. 🙂

FBCF does great work for a great cause, and Pickups for Breast Cancer is their partner in picking up donated items such as clothing, household goods, books and furniture. These are sold to raise funds. The Pickups team is always on their A-Game. Scheduling online is super easy. They come on time, leave a new pink bag and a receipt, and are courteous and friendly. I highly recommend trying them out for your next donation!!!
