I attend the chowchilla center and my experience was really bad, first of all they don't welcome new parents and/ or explain what the kids will be doing, the staff never communicate with me to even say hi. Once in the classroom I notice the toys were super dirty from months not dirty from one class to another. They allowed two sick kids into the class, the poor kids were coughing really bad, putting toys in there mouth and leaving them with the others toys that other kids where playing with.
I will not take my son to a place like that anymore.
Disinfecting toys and classroom everyday should be one of their top priorities at the end of every class.

attended a car seat class had such a good experience with Helen she was very polite and made sure to fairly explain every detail went home with a Brand new free car seat and even some diapers also learned about other free programs for baby , thank you first five and Helen for that amazing experience.

This is a great resource center for parents of young children. It's conveniently located in downtown Madera with a small parking lot off of Lake Street. They offer fun classes with parental involvement for children under 5. The classes teach the children about music, crafts, cleaning up and getting along with other children.
