This place is absolutely horrible for children’s sports. The coaches are NOT trained and very unprofessional. No one will return me or my husbands phone calls.
Zero communication. Do not use flag football and have any expectations. Very unhappy with this.

Ive been here 10 years ago when I was 12. I would go there after school and honestly it was the highlights of my day. The staff would be very nice and brighten up any kids day. We would play dodgeball in the gym alot and it would be competitive and fun. Help us with our homework. Treat everyone like family. Will never forget the place.

This is Regarding the Flag Football Program The Y offers.
Honestly it's the WORST ORGANIZED Program I've ever witnessed. Not Only is it Pricey for only the "Cheap Jearsys" they Get, but they Never Have them by the time the First Game is Set to Start.
Second the kids Work so Hard to Make it to The Finals or just to Have fun, to have it Taken Away by one of the "Coaches" who's also the Head Organizer, because he Screams/Pays His way to an EverySeason Win.
Third the Referees Who Should Know the Game Rules and Should Always Be the Ones Making the FAIR Calls Regardless what the other Coaches Think or Want to happend. BUT No they are Always doing what the Coaches Call even things the aren't true or along for help! So redicoulose.
I have never been so disappointed with a program at the YMCA like I am with this Program!

I have never sent my kid to camp and after this experience she won't be going back you ask don't send meds with my child due to other kids allergies so I do as asked and sent them in a bag with instruction and my child did not receive her medicine as prescribed and when she asked counselor refused to give them to her counselors unloaded and lost her sleeping bag parents not allowed to get off at drop off but during pickup can even park and use the restroom don't make sense the way kids are being woken up by counselors is sad not all kids can spring up with someone say time to get up 1x the one thing I really sent her for that caught my attention she didn't get to do but for the price it was definitely not worth the experience

Fun times are always to be had at the Palm Desert YMCA. From the basics of afterschool care to the swimming lessons and classes, the Y is always a great place for families.

It great that u work and make the lives of families and youth better but when it comes to single adults it's poor. I like it when it was just the YMCA. Leaving the word family out😠

I really miss the palm springs YMCA. They gave me a lifetime full of memories. The staff was like family to me.
