Decent place. They will help you get out of a jam and the leadership there is very strong. Overall the facility does a lot of good. Got me out of a jam when I was dealing with my own legal issues (alcohol related) and on a monitor when I had nowhere else to go.

The downside is they hire former addicts and convicted felons who have served long prison sentences as case managers and they are quite unprofessional towards clients when unsupervised. You can't take the "hood" out of the hood rat. Allowing those kinds of people to have unfettered unrestricted unsupervised access to the homeless who are already extremely vulnerable is a mistake.

You can't hire people with that kind of background for that job anymore than you can hire them as police officers or bank tellers. In some lines of work second chances can't apply and homeless case management is one of them. If you are here you will quickly figure out who they are and you should avoid them at all times

If you are homeless and looking for a hand up to get out of it this is the place to be. They will give you a place to stay and 3 meals a day (the food quality is beyond what you would expect from a shelter) to give you a home base to go out and find a job to save money. What more could you ask for? The staff are friendly and the facility is clean and quiet. Met some nice residents who are quickly becoming friends. You can't drink or use drugs and be able to stay here but that's part of why this place is so clean and quiet. It's an amazing place to get back on your feet if you have made a few bad decisions and need a do over.

They wanted to send me to rehab in california to rodeo They said I was on opiates. They took me downtown to revive rejuvenate. Whatever that place and I spent the nighttmare and that was I kept taking a drug test, and it kept saying I was on OpiatesI went to a rehab place down the road. And they said they couldn't take me because I wasn't on any kind of drugs that would be addictive and I also called my psychiatrist and my pharmacist, and they both said that I'm not on anything and if they want to talk to them, they could and they will tell. The mission that I'm not on any kind of drugs. Jet is a real piece of work. Trying to send me to rehab in California. I felt like she didn't care for me. I pray to God I never go that place ever again

Horrible place to be. I think it must be intentional. Why would a rescue mission be a place you would like anyway right?

My son got abused by another adult there and right after the incident a worker named JET there raced to us as if my son did something horrible and tried to talk to him to calm down right after he got abused by the adult in there I watched the whole thing. And I couldn’t call the cops because she threatened our stay there by saying “if I call them let her know because it will affect my stay there”. And she didn’t kick out the lady that abused my son in front of me she continued to let her stay right outside my room. And few days later she kicked me out with lies of my son being a bully and by himself. I have pictures and videos. I hope she loses her job there. It’s supposed to be a RESCUE Mission…
