Today 4/10 I took the 3d printing class with Chaz, he was very educated with what he teaches forsure! As someone who has zero education/experience with 3d printing (hands on) he made the experience awesome and one that I would recommend to anyone that wants to learn 3d printing or even learn a little more about what you’re already working with!
Factory two is a place you won’t forget!

Factory 2 is Flint's best kept secret! If you're a small business and are in the process of developing your brand, working with the makers and artisans there can be a low cost alternative to hiring a high flying marketing company and you'll get waay more bang for your buck! Not to mention they love and care about our city and constantly help out small community organizations and nonprofits that do good! What a great bunch of folks!

I recently attended the 6th Anniversary of Factory Two and young kids and families really seemed to enjoy the make your own T-Shirt screening process. The line for this was very busy the entire evening. ❤️😀💞

I love this place! Recently took a class where we made our own belts with leather. It was sooooooo cool! The guy from Tandy leather was really good, he was patient and thorough at explaining how to do things, even gave a demonstration before we did it ourselves. I want to take more leather working classes when offered, and learn how to use the laser etching machine and also learn to screen print on cloth.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable too!

Also, I feel that this place is great for Flint and more people need to utilize the space.

Oh, and if you're into bicycle riding, this place is also great, cause they have the people and things to help you get your bicycle back in tune. I think a few staff are members of Social cycling Flint.

Great community resource for not only makers, but also people who just need to borrow a few big tools for a one-off job. Their classes are great too.

Recently got into their 3D printers and am amazed what all you can make for virtually free!

I visited this location not to see them constructing different car parts or teaching a lesson. I went for one of the very first video game conventions. I want to give the people who tried to organize this. I know there weren't a lot of sellers there but there were a lot of local people and it was fun to see what they had. It was also great to find some good deals and people willing to haggle even if it was only a little bit hahaha. I hope they do this again next year or heck have it two times a year if you could. Thank you again for opening up your business!

Having been to various Maker Spaces in the past, I have to say that Factory Two is one of the most comprehensive ones I've had the pleasure of visiting. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Their current setup is impressive enough as is, and with all of the planned additions, I can only imagine what it will be like in the near future. It doesn't hurt that their space is one of the largest I've encountered. Definitely one of the best I've seen to date.
